I don't know what that guy thinks of himself. So what, if he is the school's "bad boy." He still is a Muslima; he should start acting like one soon.
Standing in front of Aunt Antonia's door, I knocked on it multiple times. Are they not home today? I rotated around to only see Omar's Jeep on the front of the garage, but not Anty. Is Aunt not in the house? Then there is no way I am going in there with that guys.
Nope! No way! Not gonna happen.
Then again, I am doing this for my history project only. Nothing else. Besides, if Omar does anything wrong, I will just call Aunty. She will whip his butt. However, I have to remind myself, when there are a boy and a girl at a particular place by themselves, there is always a third party- the Shatan.
Sometimes, I want to meet the Shaitan and beat him up for all the wrong things he says in people's minds for them to go down the wrong path. Then again, Allah will punish him on the Day of Judgement. Don't need to get my hands dirty.
I put my hand on the door nob. Before I can push it open, the door opened by itself. That ignoramus guy didn't even lock the front door. What if there's a - wait a minute? Thieves can't get in. This house is on high-security alert. If anyone does get in, then they won't be able to get out quickly.
As soon as I put my feet inside the house, I heard a loud noise. The noise of someone beating or punching something. The sound came from downstairs. I followed the sound. Cautiously, I opened the door. There was no light, only at the bottom of the stairs, the light spread out. Gradually, I took one step at a time. I turned left at the bottom of the stairs.
The noise became louder and louder from my left. As I walked deeper into the room, I almost tripped over an object. I yelped in pain that ran through my pinky. Due to me hopping on one leg, I used the wall to keep me from falling.
I looked down to see 45-pound dumbbells in front of my foot. I looked around the room to see many different types of exercise machines. There was a treadmill and dumbbells on the self, organized from smallest to biggest. On the right, there is a box full of boxing & MMA. Weight benches at the corner of the room.
I saw the light coming from a corner room; I bing a brave person took a couple of steps forward. A figure moved around in the place in fast motion. Without making any sound, I quickly picked up a metal stick. Slowly I began to walk toward the room. I flinched, hearing the loud beating sound.
Ya Allah, please tell me that i***t isn't getting his butt kicked.
His all 'I am a strong dude. Don't come near me' with a nasty face at school, but here he is getting beat up at his own house. What a shame!
Entering the room, I froze in my spot like a tree. My eyes widened at the sight in front of me. Sweat dripped down his back. Each punched that he gave on the bag, his shoulder muscle flexed. He looked extremely ho- Astaghfirullah.
What is wrong with you, girl? Lower your gaze. But he looks so ho-no! The Shaitan is getting you to think that. Don't let him. I read a dua to get rid of the Shaitan from around me. This dua really works on keeping the Shaitan far from you.
I turned around. I being stupid, forgot to drop the stick. The stick hit against a metal box, releasing a "bang!" sound. The sound of punching stopped, and so did his foot. Anxiety hit Me, my throat felt dry like the time of Ramadan. My eyes widened when he spoke.
"Nerd?"

The office suddenly got cold. The heater wasn't working. I ordered Robert to get it fixed. I was reading through a file for our new deal to Harper Inc. A knocked on the door disturbed me.
"Come in," I spoke in a professional voice.
I heard the door opened and people walking in. They didn't utter a word. "If you have nothing to say. Then please leave. As you can see, I am quite busy."
"For your family?" A deep voice spoke that was recognizable to me.
I looked up from my work. I couldn't help but smile. "Assalam-o-walikum. Mom! Dad! What's a pleasant surprise," I walked around my table and tackle mom into a hug.
"Sad, I couldn't say the same," dad said in a harsh voice.
"What? How can you say that to me? I am seeing you like a year later, and you show your love towards me like that. Jeez, what did I do to you?" I faked cried on my mother's chest.
"You're in trouble, young lady," he said in a harsh voice.
Oh, I know that voice! He sure is serious! What's happening? I looked at mom, who was surprised as me.
"What did I do?" I requested to go up to dad.
"You're going to apologize to Walid for your behavior towards him. That was very mean of you! Tell your son to talk to his father and forget about your past. Just leave happily," he looked at me.
"What?!"
