The fresh air was definitely doing me some justice. I rolled the window down and I stuck my head right out of it, the wind made my hair dance and my skin wrinkle. I took slow and deep breaths in the air that had no scent but was absolutely divine to the nostrils. The car took us through small towns and cities I did not know the name of. Seeing people, screaming in Italian, hugging their friends, eating the food that sat in front of them, it made me miss what I had lost.
