I opened the door. Cassius was there. His long dark hair rested on his shoulders. He smiled at me and looked at me, but not in a bad way. It felt like he just wanted to be sure I was okay. “How are you feeling?” he asked. “Better,” I said. “I feel more rested.” He smiled more. “That’s good. Food will help too.” I looked across the hall. There was another room. The bed was messy, and a suitcase was open on the floor. We went downstairs. There were two doors.
