All three of them lead me downstairs. They didn’t give me a choice. It seemed all my choices were revoked from my outburst. There was an unsettling silence that had fallen over us. It wasn’t one that was consuming. It wasn’t one that made it hard to think. It was an awkward silence that made it so much easier to see how they were in control and I was just being pulled around like a pet.
