The pain was nothing like I’d felt before. His teeth were dull spears piercing through my neck. I flailed my hands as best as I could. The energy was being sucked out of me as he pushed me down on the bed. He wasn’t pushing his teeth into anymore. He was at a standstill. But he hadn’t removed them. Tears ran down my face as I clawed at his back to get him off me. None of it worked.  The swelling of the pain gave way to something hotter. My body quaked as I saw visions of the demons in my dreams.  The room went dark. At first, I thought I’d passed out. Or I’d died.
