Doing as Dave said was going to be a challenge. He was no longer this larger than life figure in my mind that was going to kill me. Of course, he was still a threat. He could transform into a big as wolf and tear my throat out. I would say that was threatening enough. However, the line was drawn at the fact that he needed me.
I was going to make sure that he knew that well.
But I was going to have to do as he said to get my end of the bargain. We had made an agreement, fair and square. I wasn’t going to be the jack-ass that mess with the almost-like-treaty we had made. I had a lot more integrity than that.
