Samantha’s POV
I returned to my room still quivering, my steps unsteady, my body trembling as though I had just escaped something unseen. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t shake the thoughts from my mind.
The revelation clung to me like a shadow, replaying itself over and over again,each time darker, louder, more horrific than before. It felt like my mind was torturing itself, feeding on fear.
