Chapter 29: A Strange Feeling
Samantha POV…
“I invited you for a drink, not to touch her illegally. So why would you do that?” Adrian landed another punch on the man’s face, and more blood spilled from his lips.
Other men rushed forward to stop the fight, but he shoved them away violently and continued. He even gave a stern warning, “If anyone touches me again, I will use them as the next scapegoat.” Everyone stepped back immediately.
“I will teach you how to know your place and stop being stupid.” He moved away from the man, his eyes scanning the whole room, as if he was looking for something.
I just watched. I couldn’t react. I couldn’t say a thing. I didn’t even know what to say or how to react. Everything still felt like a dream, an unbelievable one.
