Chapter 26: One Answer
Samantha POV……
I turned around slowly, trying to stretch my hands. I didn’t know why, but I felt a sharp pain in my head as I tried to open my eyes.
As my eyes opened slowly and I took in the white ceiling, I wondered where I was. I still wasn’t seeing clearly; everything was blurry, and I struggled with my eyesight. The pain in my head wasn’t helping at all, it increased by the second.
I tried to move my hand, but a sharp pain hit me, forcing me to keep it down immediately. “What was happening?” I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain in my stomach sent me back to wherever I was lying.
