Chapter 52: The day everything broke
Samantha POV…..
I watched as his eyes quickly narrowed to my stomach. My heart hardened already knowing what that meant.
“So it’s true?”
He didn’t let me respond before slicing a slap across my cheeks.
“How dare you and Adrian fool the entire family, huh?” He held me by my shirt and sliced another slap across my face. “You cheap, impudent woman. What more can you do, huh?”
The shock I carried in my heart made it impossible for me to move my lips. My lips felt heavy and sealed. It felt as if they were glued together with the strongest glue.
Slowly, I lifted my head in shame and it dawned on me.
We were surrounded by the maids, and by the front of her door stood Adrian’s wife, watching with a bright smile sitting at the corner of her lips.
