KYLIE'S POV
That woke me up quickly.
"What did you say?" I asked, struggling to sit up. Elijah ran a hand over his head.
"They took Mitchell to the market square. Or they found her there and tied her up. The story is a bit unclear."
"Oh, no no no. Why would they do that?"
"They don't trust a rogue," he said, shrugging, and began to rise.
"where are you going?" I asked, rising too.
"to the market square. Jason's there, but I can't leave them by themselves. They'll need a reason for why I'm bringing in a rogue."
"I'll come with you," I said, changing out of my pajamas. It was morning and we'd barely had breakfast, but I guess each day brought its own fair share of troubles.
