ELIJAH'S POV
"Let's just take a picture of it. We can decipher it when we get home," I suggested, wanting to leave the place. The house had suddenly begun to give me the creeps.
"Sure thing." Jason brought out his phone and took pictures of the place, before turning to leave.
Then I suddenly paused as a thought occurred to me.
"What? What is it?" Jason asked when we were just at the door.
"When the moon bleeds… isn’t that just a poetic way of referring to a blood moon?" I asked, and Jason considered it for a moment.
"Perhaps.”
“And when's the next one?” I asked, suddenly having a premonition of something dark ahead.
“Well, there's been talk about a blood moon on the news lately." Jason said and his eyes widened, as though he'd begun to catch on.
