Chapter Four ‘Take twenty-four. From the top.’ Dan sat in a deck chair and flicked his sunglasses over his eyes. This whole morning had been a colossal waste of time. They’d been filming for three hours now and he didn’t have a damn take that was worth airing on his computer screen. The crew were restless. They should’ve had a break by now, but he was determined to get something useable before lunch. Unfortunately Victoria didn’t seem to share their urgency. Stan and Harry had erected umbrellas to protect them from the growing heat of the sun, a wilting Sienna had shoved her make-up in an ice-filled esky, Hillary, their extremely talented caterer, was watching her lunch slowly drying out to an inedible mess, and he was cooking in his own skin.
