Chapter Fourteen
After a week of guiding Ally around, cooking us dinner, doing assignments together and running her baths (she was much too shy to shower in front of me just yet) found us both back in the hospital. Alicia was buzzing with excitement, today was the day she was allowed to get the bandages off and see again. She would have to wear sunglasses in minimal light, but she was very much just excited to be back to her old self. Doctor Jones came in and checked her eyes before giving me some eye drops for her and taking off the bandages. Her eyes were bruised and red around her pupils, very bloodshot and a few small red lines from the cuts, but otherwise she could see. She jumped off the bed as soon as the bandage was off and threw herself at me, her arms around my neck and her lips
