Cadi’s POV
I woke up in the morning to an empty bed apart from a note from Dante telling me that he and the other guys wanted to get Chris up to speed about how the pack worked so they would be in his office most of the day. Usual the Beta’s mate wasn’t so involved, the beta female was there as a support system, but being that Chris was a male and a top warrior, I’m guessing that they had chosen to do things differently.
I grabbed my phone from my side table, groaning as I saw a message from Hailey telling me to get my butt to the gym by 9 am, or she’d make me do laps around the lake until I puked. I forced myself out of bed and quickly got into my training gear as I only had twenty minutes to get there.
