*sort of edited- not really*
Stella's POV
I walked cautiously into the school building thinking and repeatedly asking myself, 'how the hell did he know my name?'. Not that I'm creeped out that a hot guy knows my name or anything- I'm just highly curious. He grinned at me while motioning me to walk in front of him. There goes that one dimple of his again. What a cute signature smile.
As I walked in front of him, I could feel his eyes on my ass. Ha, that's funny Stella. What ass? I didn't know you could joke so much. It kind of made me feel weird. He was staring me down, looking for the curves that I didn't have. Good luck staring at my brick wall of a body! Again, you're so funny Stella.
The hallways where empty and looked like those creepy hallways from a horror movie. I'm so serious right now, I'm terrified of walking in school hallways alone. There always seems to be a creeper walking ready to r**e at any moment. I watched way too many school raping films. Why did the second bell ring so fast? It didn't feel like we were late at all.
Suddenly I was very cautious and had this bad feeling. Blake must have sensed my bad feeling because he moved closer trying to calm my fear. Not close enough to touch me, but close enough so that I could feel him on my heels as we walked.
He then decided to just walk next to me, shoulders brushing. Awe that's so nice, he might be my knight in shining armor here to save me from the schools pedophiles lurking in the dark.
Or, he probably is the pedo lurking in the dark with the white van full of candy moving closer just to snatch me up. Either one is fine by me. I love candy.
I quickly disposed of those disturbing thoughts 'bad Stella! He's just here to accompany you back to class.' I mentally scolded myself. You see, we both have gym together. Once I told him that, he got this big childlike grin on his face and asked if he could accompany me.
Lost in thought, I didn't notice that the silence made him uncomfortable. He frowned slightly but his eyes quickly lightened up as he told me that he had a joke to tell. I nodded, wondering why he was so excited. Must be a really good joke.
"Why did the football player go to the bank?" he asked with amusement in his eyes. You guys, I finally got it! His accent is Romanian. The joke on the other hand- I had no clue.
"Um, why?" I asked with true curiosity scrunched up on my face. He tried to hold in his laughter as he completed his joke. His grin threatening to break out.
"Because he wanted his quarter-back!" he answered with a glint of light in his eyes. He busted into laughter, rumbling through his chest. Such a powerful laugh that I was about to ruin.
I looked at him with a blank expression as his laugh died down. He glanced at me with a frown, noticing that I didn't laugh along.
"That was..really cheesy actually." I say, maintaining my serious expression.
I see his frown deepen, and his eyes take a sad turn.
"It was not funny?" His accent thick. I can't stress it enough how attractive it is. Plus, it's so fun messing with him, you guys should try it out sometime.
My blank expression slowly morphed into my smile breaking through and my laugh bursting out.
He looked confused. It was so cute. He might be hot, but he's as much of an awkward potato as I am. That thought comforted me. One of my kind huh.
He slowly grinned and broke out into laughter along with me, eyes never leaving my face.
As we turned the corner we just so happened to bump into the queen of the school, Stacy. My secret arch nemesis. Just kidding- it's not a secret at all that we hate each other.
She smirked as she saw him but gave me a glare once she saw me so close to Blake. Yup, you guessed right. He was her new goal. And it's just his first day too. I feel for the guy, I really do. She sent him a charming smile, waiting for him to smile back. He didn't. If anything, he looked irritated by just her presence.
He grabbed my elbow and tried to step around her, but of course- she wasn't going to allow that.
"Blakey-poo." She said quickly, putting her hand on his chest and glancing at his hand on my elbow. It looks could burn flesh, My elbow would be on fire.
His eyes slowly looked her palm that rested on his chest. Jealousy sparked inside of me like a firework. Me and the b***h's eyes connected. A silent battle went between us. Oh, it's so on, you broke stripper.
You know when a female claims an attractive guy she sees? That's what we were both trying to do.
"What is she doing here Blakey poo?" Stacy purred, purposely giving me a look as if I were trash. Blake was still staring at her palm on his chest, looking as if it were the most disrespectful thing ever. He slowly looked up at her, and all I can say is 'if looks could kill'.
He reached out and put his hand on her forehead. For a second, I thought he was feeling her temperature or something. She leaned into his hand.
Without warning, he sent her flying to the floor, her palm not against his chest anymore.
Yeet.
Well, there goes my temperature theory. He seemed to be checking his chest, dusting off his shirt.
"Looking for demon claw marks?" I ask him. To this, he laughs. And for once, I find someone in the school who doesn't hate me. Someone who hates the same person that I hate.
"Usually, I wouldn't find putting hands on a girl acceptable, but is she even a female?" He asks, his Romanian accent making it all the more funny.
As we start walking again, I put out my hand for her, trying to help her get up. She was slipping with heels on, but managed to slap my hand away.
"I don't need your help, bitch." She spits out at me.
I hear growling, but pay no mind to it, as I'm too focused on wiping the drops of saliva off of my cheek. I stare at my hand.
"Ugh gross." I say in disgust. I probably got one of her diseases on me. f*****g s**t. I really want some Nutella right now to make this day better.
I hear the growling come to an end, and Blake speaks up. But I don't hear his calm sensual voice. I hear a rough angry voice.
"Don't you dare call my Stella that filthy word that you use on your plastic friends cause I swear to god..." he stopped before he could keep insulting her. He closes he eyes, breathing through his nose. He looks frustrated, as if he would rather murder her than calm himself down.
Am I the only one who thought that this situation was amusing? I like when people get angry. Especially when his veins in his arms started to show.
I felt like laughing when Stacy squeaked an 'okay' and quickly scrambled away, pale, as if she saw death himself. I doubt that's the last time I'm gonna see her again, she's very...persistent? Yes that's the word, persistent!
What the hell is it today, opposite day? Isnt she supposed to be the wicked b***h of the west? Why is someone actually sticking up for me? Big mistake, he will regret it later. Yup, I'm determined that today is opposite day. Blake still looked pretty furious and it was still pretty damn hilarious. He looked at me in panic, I'm guessing he didn't want me to see him in an angry state. I stared at him blankly like I could see right through him.
"So Blakey poo huh?" A large grin took up half of my face as I said this, I must have looked like the Cheshire cat to him.
Gym class here we come.
