For a long while, I just sat as people continued to trickle in. Some people had already occupied the seats beside me but after giving me suprised looks, like I wasn't supposed to be here or something.
I turned to look at the person who had occupied the seat to my right and the last empty seat around me. The fact that she was a young girl about my age made me look at her more than once. Not priding myself that I was to be the only exceptional one here but, she was just a girl in a hall full of old cunning foxes. I was just glancing over for the hundredth time when our gazes met, or I thought so because her face was directed towards me and she wore dark shades. She smiled at me and damn, she was beautiful.
