We were no match for the officers who threw teargas canisters at us and used extreme force to disperse us. We put up a fight though, for three hours we ranted and shouted our rights. Our action was apparently interfering with the rich man’s schedule. Officer Jean had to order the use of force on us. In minutes, we were scattered all over tears streaking out of our eyes. I was personally hating the tear gas, when you inhaled it, it gave the impression that you couldn’t breathe. It made water come out of your facial orifices, mouth, nose and eyes. At noon, we stood silently at the spot where our stall usually stood. Everything in front of the factory had been levelled to the ground, there weren’t even anything to salvage.
