Finding my way to the stairs proved tough because of the rubble's and dust that filled every space. I ducked missing a huge rock boulder. A boulder that would have smashed my head had I not moved fast. I finally saw the stairs after struggling for a bit. Good thing the stairs to the top floor was still intact. I navigated my way to our apartment as fast as I could before the dust could choke me to death. I grabbed my two bags of cash and my mom's suitcase before I rushed back to the stairs. All of a sudden, a massive hole just seemed to appear on the spot where I just happened to step on. Gravity played a huge role in sucking me into the hole.
