First meet

ANGAD: A man of very  few words. A civil engineer as well as a businessman. Very honest and strict towards his work. A gentleman, very rich but still very humble and sweet towards people. Does not tolerates any tardiness if its related to work. Handling Singh's business alone as Rohit- his elder brother is a painter and is not interested in business world. Loves his parents to the core and can do anything for their happiness.

Angad POV: 

I just came out of a one hour long meeting that ended just a few moments ago. As I reach out of my cabin, my PA Sarang  infomed me that my dad is waiting for me in the office. I understood that it is about my marriage as today morning they were looking at each other while having breakfast. It was funny though, I decided not to ask them delibrately and left for office. When I reached the car it hit me that I have forgotten my car keys inside the house and walked back in to get them but unwantedly heard them as they were speaking about my marriage in hushed voices. I chuckled inwardly took my car keys and left for my office. 

In the office:

Angad: Good Afternoon Dad

S: Good Afternoon son 

A: Aaj aap achanak is office me kaise 

Shivam muses a little about how to tell his son while his son is looking at him to continue, finally he  breaks the ice and tells Angad ...

S: Beta, mujhe tumse ek important baat krni hai, actually tumhare shaadi ke baare me .. maine ek ladki dekhi hai and tumhari maa ko bhi wo pasand aai ... 

A: ok dad

S: I know mujhe tumse pehle puchna chahiye tha, kya tumhari life me koi hai ya tum kisiko pasand karte ho ?

A: No dad, Aisa koi nahi hai and one more thing dad, jo bhi aap aur maa decide karenge, main use accept karunga, I trust you dad. (he smiled at his father)

Shivam released a breath he didn't knew he was holding, smiled at his son and informed him to come home early as today they are going to formally meet the girl and left the office.

Angad was astonished as looked his fathers retreating figure, he did not knew his parents were fast or desperate to get him married. However, he decided to wind up his work as soon as possible and go home as demanded by his parents. Never in this life he would deny them. 

In Malhotra's House : 

Everyone was in a hurry and house was on a hustle-bustle. Anamika was told the groom and his family want to meet her formally today itself by her father.

All the house was being decorated by her parents and siblings. There was a hustlle bustle going on in her mind too. Lot of questions were running in her mind and she was a bit nervous. Though her mother assured her this afternoon, she still was restless about this whole marriage fiasco.

She got ready in the dress her mother chose for her, it was a navy blue anarkali with a very light and subtle work, her friend Kajol came to her help her get ready for the evening. After she got a little makeup and hair done, she looked at herself in the mirror and got surprised at the view. She realised that her mother surely took a great effort in choosing a dress for her. It was a perfect one. 

Suddenly she heard voices from downstairs indicating the guests have arrived, Kajol went to help Anu's  mother in the kitchen. Anamika was contemplating on what should she do when she will go downstairs. 

A few minutes later, Kajol knocked on her door and informed that she was called downstairs. She chuckled on the fact that all this was so typical even in today.s modern world. Nevertheless, she went downstairs and her heartbeats started to get faster as she approached the hall. Her mother came towards her and took her towards the couch where all guests were present and made her sit in front of the old lady whom she assumed is her supposed to be mother in law. She looked up and smiled at everyone as Avantika (Angad's mother) introduce her to everyone. Anamika felt a motherly warmth radiate from  Avantika even when they are practically strangers. Anamika was so nervous that she didn't notice she was sitting beside Angad. When she looked up his eyes met hers and the world froze.

She knew she lost her heart at that moment itself just by looking into his mesmerising eyes. He was looking at her a bit amused. Her friend Kajol cleared her throat loudly which brought Anamika out of her daze, she then realized that she has been caught staring at him openly in front of all of his and her family members. Everyone looked at her smiling teasingly and she shyly looked down being embarassed. Her heart was doing somersaults and butterflies started flying in her stomach. She composed herself and went to kitchen to bring snacks for everyone on indication of her mother. All the elders started talking about the each others interests and Angad- Anamika stole glances of each other every now then.
