It felt strange sitting on the veranda with Sara, talking to her like another human. She wasn’t being mean to me, she wasn’t trying to run me off. She was just being a normal person for a change. It was a side of her that I hadn’t seen before, and really, I didn’t think I would ever see that from her. I guess the guilt of almost getting my killed is what made her realize what a b***h she’d been, all because of jealousy.
