Love Me, Please Ch 3 Cont.

1777 Words
Jasper Kenna sat in the passenger seat. Quiet. She hadn’t said a word since we left the club. It unnerved me. I didn’t recognize this Kenna who was…distant, cold…empty. Gripping the steering wheel harder, I tried not to think of why I was so mad in the first place. It was no use. Images of her dancing with that other guy flashed through my head. I had only gotten through ten seconds of it until I let loose a growled curse and left to intervene. He shouldn’t have had his hands on her hips….running them over the sides and down….slowly lifting the sides of the fabric to reveal more creamy skin. And her ass….it had been so f*****g close to his b***r. I had seen red at that point. Was I mad because she was allowing some stranger to touch her so…intimately? Or was I mad because she wasn’t herself? Wearing the outfit she was now…it was sexy as hell, but it wasn’t her. She had always been the type of girl to dress up for the occasion, always dressed with elegance and grace. Or was I mad that it hadn’t been my hands on her? No, that was crazy. I’ve never seen Kenna in that way. And I wasn’t going to start. “You’re quiet,” I said softly. “I figured if I tried to make the best of the situation you’d just get annoyed with me.” She didn’t turn her gaze to me as she spoke. Just continued to stare out the window. “Look….I’m sorry..for how I acted back there.” An attempt at an apology but I cringed anyway at how it sounded. “It’s fine. I’m not mad just confused.” “Confused about what?” I pressed the break as we came to a stoplight. I glanced at her. She was worrying her bottom lip with her teeth and f**k me, I felt a jolt of desire streak through me. “Why did you touch me? I mean, why did you even get mad about some other guy dancing with me? You’ve never seen me in that way so it doesn’t make sense why…” I wasn’t sure how to answer her questions because I didn’t know the why either. But I didn’t want to lead her on. “I don’t have the answers you want. I just know, how that guy was touching you, was suggesting something more. Maybe you were less restrained while away at college but…I haven’t seen you like that so it unsettled me.” Silence. My thoughts started to churn. Did she go to clubs while in college? I’m sure she did. Did she have guys touching her like that while she danced? My chest started tightening with unfamiliar feelings. Did…did she go home with them…let them..Fuck! I didn’t even want to finish the thought. We pulled up in front of our childhood homes. I put the car into park and killed the ignition. “Do you plan on moving into your own place?” I asked, attempting to make decent conversation. “Yeah. I’ll be looking for a place tomorrow.” “There are some nice places up by the waterfront.” It was a suggestion….it was also where I lived. I could…keep an eye on her if she lived there. Make sure she was safe. Unbothered. “I’ll make sure to take a look.” Her voice seemed flatter and…and I didn’t like it. She opened her door and stepped out. I did the same. “What are you doing?” she asked, frowning. Hell if I know. “I’ll walk you up to the door.” She smiled then, a gentle pull of her lips and I wanted to kiss those lips. f**k, f**k, f**k. What the hell was wrong with me? “That’s sweet of you, but you really don’t have to do that.” Closing the car door, she walked around the front, heading towards the pathway that would lead her inside. I clenched and unclenched my fists. I should just leave it. Leave her. Just as I turned to get back in the door, I heard my brother’s voice shout Kenna’s name. I froze. “Wow…Kenna, you look-” he paused, seeming to find the right words. I didn’t want to turn to see how he was looking at her. Gazing at her. Desiring her. Kenna chuckled low. “I know, it’s ah different that’s for sure. I-Valerie insisted I wear it. But I think it makes me look like I’m trying too hard.” Was that doubt in her voice? Self-derision maybe? “No, not at all. I honestly think you look…delectable.” What.The.Fuck. I spun around and prowled towards the two who were talking on either side of the wrought iron gate that separated the front yards. Jet’s eyes widened as he realized I had been close by. “Evening brother,” I said, trying to push boredom and uninterest in my tone. “Why are you here so late at mom and dad’s?” I came to stand directly behind Kenna, pushing my body closer to hers. I felt her tense, as if she knew how tightly wound I really was. “Oh, I came by to have dinner with them, and then I ended up staying longer talking with dad.” Figures. He is the favorite after all. He narrowed his eyes then, suspicion flickering in those gray depths. “Why are you here?” I took a step closer, so my body was barely brushing the backside of Kenna’s body. My finger hooked in the backside of her mini skirt. “I just brought Kenna back from the club. Originally, I was just going with Zachary but then Kenna and her sister tagged along. But Kenna wasn’t feeling too good, so I brought her back home.” Simple enough answer. Jet didn’t need to know that I was feeling as possessive as a territorial dog right now. He didn’t need to know that I nearly beat a man for touching Kenna. For..I tugged on Kenna’s skirt, bringing her back flush against my chest. “I’m going to finish escorting her inside Jet. You should probably head home. It’s getting late.” The feeling of Kenna’s heat burned where our skin made contact. “Yeah, right.” Jet’s eyes found Kenna’s and he smiled a tight smile. Good. I’m glad he didn’t feel welcomed here. Kenna was mine. “I’ll see you later Kenna. Glad you’re back to stay.” “It was good seeing you too, Jet. Night.” Her voice was a tremble on the chilly night air and I felt my body craving to feel not only her voice tremble as I licked every inch of skin but to feel her tremble as I swiped my tongue up her hot center. By now, Jet had turned and walked to his car. “Jasper?” Kenna’s voice rasped. My erection was pushing into that delectable ass of hers. “I want you to put that sunshine-and-rainbows smile on for my brother. I want you to wave good-bye as if nothing is wrong. Do you understand?” I whispered close to her ear. She nodded stiffly. When Jet turned around, just like I knew he would, Kenna gave him a dazzling smile and a wave. He smiled back before getting into his car and driving away. As soon as he was pulling out of sight, I pushed Kenna forward, so her hands had to catch herself on the fence, and she was bent over. I had to hold back a groan at the sight of her skirt riding up to tease me with a hint of what was hidden between her legs. “Jasper, what are you doing?” Her question again came out breathy, needy. What was I doing? “Teaching you a lesson,” I said instead. I couldn’t admit to her what I was feeling. What I desired. She went to turn to look at me and I stopped her with a single hand to the middle of her back, my fingers putting enough pressure to hold her in place. “I don’t understand,” she huffed. “You never do. You’re always so optimistic. Believing the best in others. Always ready to cheer them on, be happy for them, love them.” I brought a finger to that hidden shadow between the apex of her thighs and when I swiped a finger down her center, I groaned, finding her underwear soaked with her wetness. She gasped and I swiped again. “I-I just want others to be happy,” she stammered. “I’ve always wanted you…” She trailed off, hesitating. I pulled her underwear aside and gently caressed around her swollen folds. Her legs trembled. “You’ve always wanted what?” I murmured, my voice a rumble in my chest. “I’ve always wanted you to be happy. You work so hard and do so much but I know your parents don’t always see that…But I do.” Her voice was a near wisp of sound by the time she said those last three words. “Ever since I could remember,” I said, rubbing closer and closer to her slick center, “I’ve always hated your personality. Always thought it was fake, ridiculous, annoying.” She released a strangled moan as I pressed on that bundle of nerves her slick coating my fingers. “Why-why are you doing this then?” Her hips were thrusting backward into my touch. So needy. “Because I can….because if you can’t see how your personality draws unwanted advances, unwanted men,” who aren’t me, I added to myself, “then I’m going to show you exactly what you were begging for.” “Jasper!” My name was a strangled plea on her lips and I wanted nothing more than to bury inside of her and pull even sweeter cries from that mouth. “You’re the only one I want!” I froze. She did too. “I-I didn’t mean-” I pulled away, taking her pleasure with me and she whimpered. Slowly, she fixed her skirt and turned to face me. Her hazel-turquoise eyes were dark with pent-up need, her face flushed and her breathing ragged. “Don’t make this out more than it is. I don’t like you.” My words were like knives, cutting away any hope that she might have clung onto that this would go anywhere. “Now get inside.” Without a lingering glance my way, she hurried past me and into her home.
