"Second Young Master, the ginger ale is ready." A maid's voice answered from outside the door.
Leander lowered his head and kissed Shawn's forehead, once more before saying softly, "Drink some ginger ale before going to bed. It'll help you feel more comfortable. I'll go get it for you."
Letting go of him, he got up and walked over to the door. He took the drink from the maid after opening the door, and then went back to the bed.
Actually, Shawn's throat didn't hurt that much anymore. He didn't even have a fever anymore. But when he saw Leander carefully walking over with his drink on the tray, he still took it. Then, he raised his head and drank it all in one breath.
