Chapter 10 I was surprised to get a call from Annette, Jenny’s best friend, suggesting we meet up, so I made my way into the West End, to a pub called The Dog and Duck on the corner of Frith and Batemans street. It was a small unassuming pub that served up a decent pint of Fullers. Annette was waiting outside. She said she did not like to enter pubs on her own and certainly not in Soho. Annette was an extremely attractive woman. Unlike Jenny she had a fulsome figure with an ample frontage; her face was rounded and framed by a bob of short brown hair and a sparkle glimmered in those hazel eyes.
