I didn’t even know which part made me angrier—
him telling me to strip, or him calling me a low-life slave.
Okay, fine, maybe it was the stripping part that got me fuming the most, because honestly, I was kinda used to the low-life jabs by now.
I stood there staring at him, my brain doing cartwheels of confusion and shock.
Me? Strip?
In front of an Alpha?
Yeah, right—like that was on my to-do list for today.
“Excuse me?” I blurted out, not because I hadn’t heard him crystal clear, but because I needed a second to process if this cold, scary Alpha had really just dropped something so gross on me.
My voice came out all squeaky.
“Get in,” he repeated, and do exactly what I told you. Now.”
I froze solid, like my feet were glued to the floor.
