Up the stairs I went, two at a time, dodging falling bricks as the Dom was starting to crumble around me. The brick staircase spiraled like I was exiting an old dungeon. On the landing, several sentinels blocked the first-floor entrance. I walked halfway down the corridor and stopped, angled sideways.
“Hey!”
Immediately they aimed, and without hesitation, shot their weapons. Stopping the electrical current coming towards me, I redirected the charge back in their direction, shocking them instead. I was at the door before their bodies hit the ground.
