I looked at Ronin in utter annoyance. “Is he serious?”
“That is why we call him professor all the time because he wants you to come to your own conclusions. What he is trying to say is that we can put a plan in motion but it doesn't mean it will work out exactly as we predict. There will be times we will be on our own and quick decisions will have to be made. Some of which will change us forever. Are you ready for that?”
“So, basically, do what you have to do when the time comes,” I said, placing the last book on the shelf. “Yes, I'm ready. Like I said, I am here.”
