The Morning

Chapter 7 It was empty but for one person on a treadmill. Jenny. She waved at him as she slowed down her pace. “Good morning! I didn’t expect to see anyone else in here.” She said cheerfully. “Hey, Jenny. Yeah, I couldn’t sleep, and thought I would beat out some stress on the punching bag.” He said, grabbing a pair of boxing gloves from a box in the corner. She turned off her machine and walked over to him. “Is everything OK? You never seem stressed, so it must be big. Work stuff?” She asked. “Yeah, kind of. I'm learning about some potential mergers. There’s one that seems a good fit right now, but my dad says that company is a rival of a better company we want to get on board with us in a few months’ time. Dad says to hold off on the current company, but-” he paused “This current company looks so good. What if we miss out on a fantastic opportunity now waiting for another company who may never sign with us anyway?” “Wow, that would keep you awake, eh?” Jenny responded. “I don’t know much about business and mergers, but I know your dad has built an empire. I also know that he is fair, and rational and knows when to take risks and when to hold back. I don’t think he would lead his company down a wrong path. I think he loves his son more than his company too, and he wouldn’t lead you down a wrong path either.” “You are far too reasonable, Jenny.” He joked with her, playfully giving her a soft punch in the arm with his big red boxing glove. She mocked the injury by grabbing her shoulder and crying out in fake pain. “Well, that’s the last time I try and help you then! Woman beater!” She laughed. “I'm telling the tabloids!” “Ha Ha!” he said sarcastically. “So, what about you? What are you doing here so early?” “Oh.” She said, her face turning red. “I’ve been doing the couch to 5k plan. I’m kind of tired of being known as the “cute chubby one” and when my boyfriend comes home from college for homecoming, I want to knock his socks off with some flat abs and a bubble booty.” she gave an embarrassed giggle. “Jenny, you’re one of the best people I know, and your boyfriend is extremely lucky to have you right now, just as you are. I hope he knows that. Don’t change for anyone but you. That said, I love running. It helps me clear my head and I always feel better after words. If you ever need a buddy to encourage you, just let me know. I’ll be here for you every morning.” Cristofori proposed. “Really?” Jenny’s face lit up. “I would love that! Thank you!” “Great! It’s a deal! Now back to work! I’ve got to beat this bag senseless.” He chuckled, giving the big a hard punch and sending it swinging. He threw punch after punch against the bag. He couldn’t stop seeing Lydian from his dreams. He wondered how much of the dream Lydian looked like the real Lydian underneath her clothes. He would never know. All he could do was close his eyes and try to remember the erotic look in her eyes. The red lips swollen from his kisses. “No!” He shouted, punching the bag with all his might. He had to stop this. Had to stop thinking about her. They could be friends, and that was it. Maybe once he had his wolf, they could have a cup of coffee and he would realise she wasn’t his mate and this sudden infatuation with her would be over, but he wouldn’t put himself in a position to jeopardize everything he believed in. Everything he had worked toward. He was a werewolf. His instinct was to find his one true mate and make lots of pups and protect his pack and their secret. He couldn’t just go around breaking the hearts of humans. Especially Lydian. He could just sense that she had been broken before. He wouldn’t be the one to break her again. He finally stopped beating the poor bag. His hands hurt despite the pads in the gloves, but the rest of him felt sort of better. Either that or he was just too tired and resigned to care anymore. He grabbed his water bottle and drank the full amount in a few gulps as he headed back to his room for a shower. Breakfast would be ready in an hour and then at 8 sharp they were meeting in the recital hall. *** When Lydian woke up to her alarm, she could hear Jenny in the shower. “What an amazing dream.” She was so turned on. All night she had been making love to Cristofori and it felt so real. Everything that making love was supposed to be. Loving, comforting, kind, sweet. So gentle, so reassuring. Making sure she was OK with everything he was doing. She had never been so turned on. She took the chance with Jenny in the shower to reach under her pyjama pants and touch her wet p***y. She was so slick and smooth. She loved that velvety feeling of her lips. She circled her juices around her clit and breathed out softly. It felt so good. She closed her eyes picturing how Cristofori looked the night before. His hair cascading down the pillow as she rode him. His silver eyes pierced her soul. The fire that lit in them as he came. Her hand moved around her clit faster as she savoured the memory of the dream. She wanted to remember every detail. How she undressed in front of him to “Dreaming in Colour,” one of her favourite piano pieces. How she took him in her mouth. His taste was exquisite. His c**k was intimidating, but she relished the challenge. As a singer she could open her throat for him to go as deep as he wished, and she loved it. She remembered how she came against his lips, and how he had lapped up her juices. Her fingers went faster and faster, pressing her clit in a circular motion. She recalled how they came together just as her body fell over the edge, and a wave of pleasure overtook her. Her breathing came out as a shudder as she tried to regain control over it. The waves just kept coming. Pleasure after pleasure surged through her whole body until she was completely and utterly spent. She lay there in her euphoria until she heard the shower stop, then she got up and turned on the light and put on some music. She picked an outfit for the day. A pair of jean shorts and a cropped tank top paired with some brown doc martin sandals. She had a series of leather wrist bands and bangles that she wore religiously to cover her scars on her wrists when she didn’t have a long sleeve shirt on. It was just too hot to wear long sleeves today. She would put some makeup on her wrists, and no one would notice them. It would be fine. Those scars came from a dark place, but they reminded her that time heals all wounds. She was healing. Maybe someday her scars will disappear completely. The bathroom door opened, and Jenny walked out, showered, dressed, makeup on, towel drying her hair. “Oh great! You’re up. Sorry for hogging the bathroom. I’m running a bit behind; I took longer at the gym than I planned.” “That’s no problem, Jenny. I hope you enjoyed your workout. I didn’t realise we could use the gym. I’ll go with you tomorrow if you want some company!” Lydian replied as she entered the bathroom and started the shower. “I think you would really enjoy it if you did. Cristofori was in the gym with me this morning pounding out some frustrations on a gym bag and boy was that fun to watch. Got my heart rate up more than my run!” She joked. Lydian’s face went red at the mention of Cristofori and her memories of her powerful orgasm this morning while thinking of him. “Oh? Did you two enjoy your workout together?” Lydian arched an eyebrow. “Well, I certainly did. He looked... well... upset. He gave me some bull about a merger with their dad’s company but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t it.” She confided. “I’m sure he will work it out. He seems like a smart guy. Anyway, I’m going to jump in the shower.” She said, closing the door. As the water washed away her steamy dream, she couldn’t help but wonder what had gotten underneath Cristofori’s cool demeanour. He just seemed like the kind of guy who had it all and had it all together. What could possibly be troubling him? After a thorough wash, and a razer to all body parts where a woman doesn’t want hair to grow, she exited the shower ready to face the day. She lotioned up with her favourite almond body butter, and ran a brush through her long chestnut waves, some simple contouring, mascara and lip stain and she was ready for the day. She emerged from the bathroom dressed with bangles on and slid on her sandals. “The fun has arrived!” she sang a line from Disney’s Tarzan as she showed her complete look to Jenny. Jenny gave a nod of approval before they left for breakfast.
