Michaelson heard footsteps approaching. He could make out the footsteps were from two people. One whose sweet scent already gave her away... He shut his eyes, turned to his side, away from the door. The overall guilt overwhelming him again. He put her through so much.. If there was one thing he felt right now, it was a total embarrassment and guilt. Although, weak and battered, He had seen them the previous day... Diane and Ophelia.. Secretly pondered how she was able to get Diane to work with her on such dangerous mission. He saw her use her powers, witnessed as she slumped to the ground soon after out of exhaustion. Worst feeling is he couldn't protect her when that happened. His crazy ass only further proved he's a complete burden to her. It was sad..
