CHAPTER FOUR

Samantha ran into Origin company, she was really sweating profusely. She sat down on a chair as she panted. When she was done resting and catching her breath. She looked around but was shocked. Neither James not Sanchez were any where in sight, she was about to call him with her phone when they drove in. She hurried to the car but when she saw James' face she moved back. He walked into Origin company with an angry look on his face.

Samantha walked towards Sanchez and demanded to know why they were late.

"Hey, why are you guys late".

"We had a little problem on the way".

"Oh great. It seems like the angels are working on my behalf". she said and giggled.

"Don't laugh too much". a voice said which made Samantha to get startled. She turned and saw James starring daggers at her.

"Sorry sir". she said and hurriedly followed him inside.

The days went by and it was finally Friday. Cherry walked into Samantha's office smiling.

"Hey what's with the positive vibe".

"Ummm hello (snaps her finger) don't you know what today is".

"And what's all about today".

"Girl... It's Friday".

"Okay, I get it's Friday so...". Samantha said not understanding what Cherry was trying to tell her.

"Girl you are so annoying. We going clubbing tonight". she said and screamed.

"Ohh s**t, I totally forgot about that and bring down your voice. It's an office you know".

"Oh scrape that". Cherry said not minding if they were in office or not.

"You are really funny. Anyways I think I need that clubbing tonight cause girl I'm really stressed out".

"Speaking of stressed out, on my way here, I saw Sanchez and he said James requests for you".

"Oh s**t, I didn't keep his coffee". Samantha said and rushed out.

"She is really trying. Well life of a secretary". Cherry commented.

"Hello Mrs page". James greeted sarcastically as Samantha walked into his office.

"I'm really sorry sir, it really skipped my mind".

"Ofcourse it always skipped your mind Miss Page".

"For goodness sake it's Paige. PAIGE. Paige sir". Samantha said already angry.

"Woah (laughs) so you do know how it feels to get angry when someone does something you don't like. Well until you begin to do things right in this company, I'll stop making mistakes in your name". he said and left the office banging the door angrily.

"I hate you James Anderson". she screamed and sat on the floor.

At that moment, everything that happened between her and James from five years ago began to play in her head. She was boiling in anger and mistakenly broke the coffee cup making the coffee she had brought for James spill on her body. Hot tears began to rush down her face.

Samantha and Cherry walked into the club, Samantha sat down while Cherry went to get their drinks.

"Hey". a random guy said as he approached Samantha

"Not interested". she replied him rudely and he left immediately.

"Hey girl, you have to calm down okay. I know that you're not really good right now but hey common this is a club, s happy house. In here, you forget your enemies, forget your pains, forget your annoying boss and live in the moment. Have a good taste of life. So girl get your hot ass up from that chair and come dance your stupid boss James Anderson off". Cherry jokingly said as the both girls stood up and began dancing their griefs away.

After dancing for some time, Samantha was already tired and walking back to her chair when she bumped into James and Sanchez.

"What".

"Seems like we were destined to always bump into each other miss Page".

"Just get out of my way". she said and tried leaving but was dragged back by Sanchez and In return, Samantha gave him a very hot slap on his cheek.

"Don't you ever in your life dare touch me again you f*****g son of a b***h".

Sanchez was about to return the favor when James stopped him.

"Miss Samantha Paige, you wouldn't want to start a fight that you can't finish would you".

"Are you damn serious right now, like didn't you just witness what your f*****g assistant just did. So who's the one trying to start a war".

"I would warn you miss, do not try what you just did again".

As they were still talking, Cherry walked in on them. Samantha then explained what happened, as she was explaining her phone rang. She answered the call and immediately ran out of the club leaving everyone confused.

She had received a call from her mom telling her that her dad just fainted and was being rushed to the hospital.

Samantha ran into the hospital like a mad dog. She met with the doctor who explained the urgency of the situation to her.

"Miss Paige, if you don't pay up the money real quick I'm really sorry there will be nothing that I can do". the doctor said.

Samantha was stranded, she didn't know what to do, who to run to. She just sat on the hospital floor, thinking about what to do. She can't go back to the bank since she owed them a whole lot of money.

Cherry ran into the hospital and went to her side, she hugged her so tight not letting her go. She gave her all the words of encouragement that a true friend could give. Cherry was indeed what one could call a real friend.

AT THE ANDERSON'S HOUSE

"Oh really James, you don't want to get married". Mrs Anderson asked James.

"Mom I've told you, I'll get married when I want to. You can't keep forcing me and if I want to get married now, I can't and will never get married to Amanda". James said and went up to his room.

Mrs Anderson has been forcing James to get married to Amanda McCoy ever since he returned. Amanda is James ex girlfriend. And James doesn't want to get married to her. He told his mom that he'll get married when he wants to but then an idea popped to his head and he smiled evily.

On Monday morning, Samantha sat on her chair, one could easily tell that her mind wasn't in any way close to the real world. She was really looking dejected.

The telephone in her office rang, knowing who it was, she sluggishly walked to James'office.

"I'm sorry for not getting your coffee, I'll go get it now". Samantha pleaded and was about going out when James handed a document over to her.

"What's this".

"You can read right?".

She opened the document and was shocked to see the title of the paper. She looked up at James to speak but no words were coming forth. The content really shocked her.
