Contract Of Love

CHAPTER ONE

"Can I have a cup of latte and two slices of waffles, also add a little sugar to the latte. Thanks". A smartly dressed lady ordered. Judging from her dressing, a white shirt on a black plain trouser, one can easily tell that she was on her way to work and decided to grab a cup of coffee before leaving for work. Done making her order, she walked towards and a table and sat down.

Some minutes later, her latte was brought to her.

"Oh, Thank you".

"Welcome, do you need anything else".

"No I'm good. Thanks".

"Alright then. Enjoy". The cafe attendant said and left.

A moment later, realizing that she was already late for work stood up hurriedly and still with her cup of coffee mistakenly splashed it on a guy who just walked into the cafe thereby ruining his cloth.

"Holy s**t". The guy screamed

"I'm really sorry". Samantha pleaded as she was in a hurry to leave

"You should have watched where you were going to young lady".

"Excuse you, okay... This isn't my fault and hey couldn't you be more responsible and waited a little while before bumping into me and right now you are blaming me for this, really?".

"Really, you trying to put the blame on my boss, you have got to be kidding me". the guy's assistant said trying to save his boss from the nagging lady.

"Ummm hello butt follower, why shouldn't I put the blame on your boss when he was the one that bumped into me first".

"You...". The assistant was about saying when his boss stopped him.

"That's enough Sanchez. Miss (smirks) I'm sorry for bumping into you. But I do know one thing for sure, I see an apology coming up in the future. Sanchez let's go get a new suit since this one is ruined". The guy said as he smirked at Samantha and left.

"Stupid idiots". Samantha commented and left.

AT THE OFFICE

Samantha could be seen sitting on her office chair working on a file when her best friend Cherry walked in.

"Hey Best".

"Hey Cherry, what's up".

"Nothing much, why were you late for work. As the secretary of the new boss, you are meant to be early to work. And speaking of a new boss, heard he will be coming today. Finally, I can't wait to see him". Cherry giggled.

"Oh really, that's nice".

"Why don't you look surprised. Spill it, what's wrong".

"I'm sorry, I was just having a cup of coffee when this jerk walked in on me, there by making the coffee I was holding to spill on him and he began to blame me, so I just had to take it out on him. Like seriously who bumps into someone knowingly and blames it on them".

"That's crazy but damn girl, you should really count your stars cause you were damn lucky cause if you have been any minute late, the attendant manager would have marked you absent and I know you understand what that means".

"Oh thank goodness I came early. I'm just so frustrated right now".

"It's alright girl, just forget about the jerk and focus on your work okay. Now I have to go. Love and kisses". Cherry said and left.

FIVE YEARS EARLIER

Samantha could be seen sitting down inside a club with a drink in her hand. She looked really wasted. She had just lost the only job she had, so she felt empty. It was through this work that she fends for her family and now she lost it. So why won't she drink her self out. At this moment she was already dead drunk. As she stood up to leave, she missed a step and mistakenly fell but was caught by someone. Lust could be seen in their both eyes and soon they found themselves on the bed, clothes flying around and noises being made.

The next morning when Samantha woke up, she was shocked to see herself in a hotel room naked. She tried to remember what happened but she was having a banging head.

"Ughh my head hurts. Oh God what happened last night". She asked no one exactly and all a sudden, the memories began playing back.

"Oh s**t. This can't be true. I just slept with a total stranger". she screamed and stood up searching around if she could see the guy but he was no where to be found. She only saw a bundle of dollar notes on the table with a note that read "THANKS". She sighed and stood up then prepared and left the hotel hurriedly.

Some weeks later, she began to feel ill and decided to carry out a pregnancy test hoping it would come out negative. But who was she kidding, the result came out positive. She was pregnant.

She was really shocked, she wasn't expecting the pregnancy not now that she had nothing doing. At that moment she felt like strangling herself. She was going to become a single mom. She couldn't forget the face of the guy that put her in that condition, throughout the years, she tried searching for him. She didn't know his name just his looks alone. Her searching was in vain cause she never saw him again.

So she decided to forget about that guy and focus on her baby. With the help of her parents and best friend, she was able to raise the beautiful baby girl she had given birth to. Soon all the memories about the guy began to fade away from her memories.

PRESENT DAY

Samantha was jotted back to reality when she heard noises.

"What's going on".

"Our new boss and CEO of this company is finally here and Oh my God girl he is so damn handsome and hot". Cherry screamed like a little baby who has just seen her mom.

Samantha walked to the front of the office to go see or get a glimpse of who the new CEO is, and she was shocked when she saw him.

"What". She screamed.

The face of the guy relay shocked her and she didn't want to believe that it was real.
