"wa you and Jamari havei" she said, she didn't even ask why I took forever to come.

“Who's name is Jamari? I asked, in confusion while Jada was laughing in the back, she wicked, can't she help me instead of showing off all her braces in her mouth.

“Me name so” he said, walking towards grandma, with a smirk on his face.

“Don"t come here with you ramping mood” grandma said, slapping him on his shoulder, causing him to groan

“So mi cah get you granddaughter” then this boy, really bold enough to say that to grandma. I take this chance and walk past her and go into the shop.

I pull Jada a side

“Girl you couldn't help me” I said to her in a whispering tone

She shakes her head no while showing off her 32 teeth.

“The boy likes you and he's not gonna stop. I know you like him too” she said, accusing things when I know damn well that I am not.

“You know nothing” i said, sitting down on the chair folding my arm

Jeez, I can't take another problem, I'm too young for things. Believe me.

“But anyways mama would be against it even tho them deal with each other good” she said,

Speaking of that, why? If they have nothing against each other. That's weird. Probably because he knows him way too much .

“Mmm, but she wouldn't know if me and him started dating though” I said, shrugging my shoulders.

“You think so, remember what's in the dark will show in the light some day or the other” she added, what she said is not wrong but i have to hide well if I ever in this life time date that n****r.

Just then grandma walks in, both me and Jada look at her, waiting for her to say some “ enuh follow mi, we need to talk for a moment” as she said, she moved off and walked to the house with us tailing behind her.

She sat down on the usual couch she one sits in, have you ever wondered why our grandparents had one chair that they one sits in. The both of us just sit in the long one from across her.

“Now tell me Mora, you like him don't you?” she said, expecting me to say yes but i don't have any feelings for him. “No I don't,” I said without hesitation.

“You sure because he does so he is gonna try every possible way to get your attention” she added to my answer, yeah I did realize he's not easy to give up and a bit stubborn too.

“Yeah, but mi nuh easy” I said

“Mi know but mi know you like him soon so mi want to give you a heads up first” she said, resting back in the couch.

“mama, if them even end up dating, nuh worry if him hurt Mora, member we know him yard and him mada can't take off the beating and put back on us” Jada said with a big smirk on her face and me just start laughter cause why does she wanna hurt him.

“Hey hey nuh bother with that” I said, slapping her shoulder because she too bad mhon.

“Anyways as I was saying, he loves women badly so be careful if you heart strongly fine but if not don't date him” she said, looking straight into my two eyes, knowing damn well she is serious about it.

“And mi nah stop you from dating who you want to date” she added to her previous speech.

“Yeahi know, plus I am not ready for no relationship at this moment right now” I said, answering her thoughts even though she doesn't believe me for now.

But who knows what's gonna happen because we never know what's gonna happen the next minute so yeah.

“Enuh come gwaan back up inna the shop and make me go start cooking cause it's 12 yah now” she said, looking up at the clock.

Me and Jada gets up and start walking towards the door

“Oh by the way, Mora you see what's inside the box?” She asked and I looked back at my bag in the chair and walked back to it. “yes, mi see it and see the phone here was him send” I showed it to her and she smiled at me.

“You finally got a new phone now, now you don't have to use that broken screen phone” Jada said, taking it from me to look at it.

“Eeh uncle text you too, he finally has some way to communicate with you instead of we” Jada added while looking at the phone.

“So enuh never wanted to be the messenger” I asked,

“No,” both grandma and Jada said at the same time, causing me to burst out a laugh, looks like this man is giving them a hard time.

“Enuh gwan now” grandma said and just then we both left the house to the shop and people were already in the shop already, as we reached i see my boy cousin Jordan.

“JORDAN!!!” I shouted out his name, everybody turn to looked at me and Jada laugh, does this girl ever get sad

“Little girl, why you a done mi name” he said, walked to our side, and patted my head but I slapped away his hand. I don't like when people pat my head. “ No me nah done you name” I said, giving him a hug first before sitting down.

“B?” A female voice travels from the doorway to my ears, i break up the hug and look at the person, i don't know who but i only see Jordan move off and hug her up, then this a boy yah could a ha e woman think he did gay.

“Girl, you cousin in law,” Jada said, catching my attention. I did figure that cause who wouldn't know, but my spirit doesn't take her so I don't like her at all. She looked at me with a fierce eye “who you be, first mi a see you” she said with an attitude but she stink ehh “how that concern you, ask yuh mn” I said sitting down in the chair beside Jada.

“I don't like her” Jada whispers to me and I nod in agreement cause she is pissing me off.

She pushes the door to enter on our side as Jordan turns his back, both me and Jada stand up cause she is bold.

“If you know what best for you go back round there so” Jada said,just then Jamari pull har out hard, damn she almost broke her neck.

“You come down here to yuh man so start under him and don't provoke what you don't want to provoke” Jamari said, and me just stand there shocked and Jada laughs, served a customer who just came in.
