Arzelle’s PoV

*Bang!*

"Sino yan?! Magpa-" before one of them finished his sentence, he's already dead. The gunshot was loud pero dahil malayo ang greenhouse sa kung nasaan nangyayari ang welcome party, walang nakapansin maliban sakin at kay Claude. 

Nakatago lang akong nagmamasid sakanila habang isa isa silang namamatay, pinasadahan ko ng tingin si Claude na gulat na gulat sa nangyayari. He's face says it all, not scared but more like confused on what the f**k is happening in his brother's welcome party.

Nanatili ang katahimikan ng ilang segundo hanggang sa lumabas na ang pumatay sakanila. Ace and Ice. As soon as I saw them, a wrinkle was formed in my forehead as I furrowed my brows and shot a glare towards my two brothers.

What the hell are they doing here? In my mission? 

Tinapakan ni Kuya Ace ang mukha ng isa sakanila at tinignan kung may tattoo ba ito ng aming mortal na kaaway, "f**k it, Sarref is making a move now" inis na puna nito.

Kinausap naman ni Kuya Ice si Claude tapos ay tinapik ito sa balikat, "Go back now, kami na bahala dito." Tumango si Claude at nagpasalamat pagkatapos ay umalis na din ng Greenhouse.

Lumabas ako sa pinagtataguan ko at tinignan sila ng masama, "This is my mission, why are you two here?" I raised a brow and crossed my arms. 

Well, it’s definitely a humiliation to seek for someone’s help. It makes me look like I'm not capable enough. Moore importantly, kaya ko naman ang sarili ko and I was about to pull my trigger at nakauna nga lang ang dalawang ‘to. 

Basta, I am not satisfied with their entrance!

"Dad ordered us to see if Sarref is making a move, that's why we are here." simpleng sabi ni Kuya Ice.

His expression was unwavering despite the certain fact nga napapaligiran sila ng mga patay. The ground was also covered in blood na kinailangan ko pang magmasid ng maigi kung saan ako aapak. Mabuti na ang sigurado, ika nga.

"Don't worry, ngayon lang kami makikialam because our job here is done" sabat ni Kuya Ace.

Pang ilang beses ko mang nakikita ang seryosong mukha ni kuya Ace sa tuwing naka mafia-mode siya but I still could not seem to get used to seeing him with a straight face and all. Mas nagiging kamukha niya si kuya Ice.

I heaved a sigh, "Alright then. I'll get going too. See you sa party kuya Ace, kuya Ice."

Para namang may magagawa ako eh they had valid reasons to interfere. But they should have at least given me a heads up, no?

Paglabas ko ng Greenhouse ay hinanap ko agad si Claude. My watch detected him near the fountain kaya ay pinuntahan ko siya. He's sitting there peacefully, star gazing. Tinabihan ko siya sa pag upo, "What a beautiful view you got here."

Tinignan niya ako at ngumiti, "Yeah, pag di ko na alam ang nangyayari sa buhay ko I'd just look at them and I'll be calm again."

Bakas sa mukha nito ang pagod at alala. He seemed to be fed up with the life that he's living. And as for the worry, hindi ko din kung para saan ang pag aaalala na pinapakita niya. 

May pagka chismosa din ako kaya ay umayos ako ng upo at tinignan siya sa mukha bago nagtanong. "What's bothering you?"

I tried to sound as neutral as possible. Not curious and not uninterested.

"I just have this friend and then I just recently found out that he is a killer. I mean I am thankful kasi iniligtas niya ako but his job is dangerous. I couldn't help but to worry." His voice is so gloomy and innocent. I didn't utter any word and nakatingin lang ako sa mga bituin sa langit.

With the face that he's making, I am starting to doubt whether he's aware of the danger that lies ahead of him or that he was kept in the dark by his parents. 

Either way, I pity him. 

I may not know you, Claude Go. But I'll surely protect you and your innocence. 

"Hey we should go back" aniya kaya ay tumayo na ako. "You look so beautiful today anyway, minus the nerdy look" tawang dagdag niya

"I'll take that as a compliment. " sarcastic na sabi ko.

Ganda na sana ng ambiance, eh. At isa pa, maganda naman ako kahit anong pagpapapangit ko sa sarili ko.

"Claude!"

"Hey twin." tinignan ko ng masama ang kakambal niya. But he just smiled at me and ibinaling ang tingin niya sa kakambal niya.

"You need to meet your fiancé! She's pretty! Girlfriend sama ka!" he was excited as a kid and I just rolled my eyes heavenward. Of course sasama ako, I need to keep my eyes on this man beside me.

Akmang tatalikod na sana ang kakambal ni Claude nang bumaling ito sa aking at nagtanong. 

"Wait what's your name?" naka smile na sabi niya.

"Look at you randomly calling someone "Girlfriend" when you don't know her name" I really finger-quoted the word Girlfriend.

"Edi sabihin mo pangalan mo para alam ko na" He giggled. Claude is just silently listening but he seems enjoying the view wherein I'm arguing with his twin brother. He's insane.

Hindi ko siya pinansin kaya ay tinanong nalang niya si Claude, "Cale, her name is Elle. Ayos na?" natatawang sabi ni Claude.

Traitor!

"Elle?" So your name's Cale huh.

"May problema sa pangalan ko?" I raised a brow. What's wrong with Elle? For a fake identity, Elle Baltazar is a decent name.

"Is that your nickname?" Tanong niya pabalik. 

With that being said, I raised a brow as the corner of my lips twitched. How dare he answer my question with a question? 

"No shut up." Inis na sabi ko. I don't know, the twin brother seemed to scream 'bad news' all over him. 

"Cale, Claude! There you are! I want you to meet Claude's fiancé" magiliw na sabi ni Mrs. Go

Nakatalikod ang babae kasi ay may kausap ito kaya ay tinapik siya ng mama ni Claude. Lumingon ito at nag bow, "Hi, I'm-"

"Aelis?"
