Abby fell asleep instantly when she got her shot. Duane and I stayed with her, quietly talking about the differences between royals and wolves. I was curious if he had noticed any of the gifts most royals had. Apparently, she always knew when they were lying — even as a baby. When Bernadette came into the picture, Burnt would block Abby out to speak freely. They had figured out lying would never work, but just not telling her seemed to get them by, which is why she didn’t know much about wolf kind
