Amara's POV Thirty minutes passed as I spent my time with mom—pouring out of everything that had been weighing on my heart. I told her all the worries, the fears, the confusion I had kept buried in my chest. Mom listens to every word with warmth and patience, just like she always did. But even so, I know her stamina had limits.
