Violet pulled up to the house she had grown up in and thanked God that her father wasn't at home. She hadn't been back to the place since that fateful dinner because of him. If only he would have understood what she wanted- and needed- and not pushed her toward what he felt she deserved. He didn't know d**k about her as far as Violet was concerned.
