Sleepovers

Austin's POV

After the lesson of geography I had with Nick, I was alright sitting five rows in front of him but it wasn't how I planned with that mutt sitting next to him that close. We are had this project to do so I was partnered up with Nick, and the mutt with lame jock who wasn't going to be much help.

As we all filed out of the room I asked Nick what has been on my mind the whole entire time, "Um... Nick..." he look back at me with innocent eyes and smiles "Yea, what wrong, are you ok?" He stopped walking as did I, when his features changed from happy to concerned.

I mentally smile at this, "Yea I'm alright I was just wondering if you wanted to do the project at my house, if that's cool with you?" I said rubbing the back of my neck in embarrassment.

He bit his bottom lip adorably and thought for a few moments, "Yea, sure I'd love to go to yours, at least we're both doing the work" He joked and chuckled.

I bloody smiled and I'm pretty sure it hurt my cheeks that I couldn't feel it, for I was in pure ecstasy. "Great, I'll meet you at the main entrance at the end of school, right?" "Yea, right" he whispered with a blush rising from his cheeks as he walked to his next lesson, late.

As the day flew by it was lunch time, I wasn't in any of Nick's lessons for Biology, break, P.E and Drama. As I was walking looking for a space to sit, some girls with short skirts that I was sure they were actually belts and short tops that looked like they were wearing a three year olds clothes.

I smiled at them in a polite way and I think they took that as me flirting with them, for they pulled their tops down even more, I cringed on the inside at the site of both girl.

I bet they would both be beautiful if they dressed right, of course and not like some cheap prostitutes off the street. One of the even had the audacity to touch my arm. I wanted to rip both of their arms off and feed it to them on platter.

"Hi there, my names Cathy and this is Lucia, and you are cutie?" She purrs in my left ear. I takes a deep breath before letting it out, "My names Austin and it's nice to meet both of you but I best be going don't want to keep my boyfriend waiting, now do I he's feisty when he's angry and when he's angry he can kill anyone with no regrets." I lied to them and I could feel them physical shake they left me alone after a while.

I found a seat behind an oak tree and ate my lunch alone like a loner, I was daydream about my perfect mate when I heard the sound of footsteps and the smell of wet dog. I grimaced at the foul smell but still looked up to meet a pair of forest green eyes that belonged to a blue haired boy.

I smiled mockingly and bowed my head, " Alpha's son, what brings you here to my school, hmm" I playfully bit my bottom lip as if I was thinking, he growls at me which earned him an amused smirk and chuckle.

My eyes start to turn red and my fangs start to enlarge themselves, " I'll only ask this once dog, WHAT THE f**k ARE YOU DOING ON MY LAND HUH?" I nearly shout as I start to growl uncontrollably as I try to compose myself, just when a sent of strawberries and vanilla chocolate wafers through the air signalling that my mate was coming.

I take deep breaths as the sent alone calms me down from my rage toward the dog, I look him in the eyes and whisper harshly "This isn't finished yet mutt" Just as Nick round the corner and waves at us, I wave back at him and smile as he's making his way here from the courtyard. When the wolf said in a daze "Waiting for my mate right over there" he pointed to Nick, my eyes widened at what he just told me, I then stared back at Nick.

Wait no no no that can't be true, he's got to be kidding, I scoff at him, just when Nick said in a cheery voice "Hey guys" I smile at him and greet him with a hey.

"So can Jevon come to your house? We've got a project to do on history as well and I wanted to get it done, and to also get to know you guys better." He bit his bottom lip in a cute way but it was as if he were anxious. I sighed and replied "Yes it can come over my house but once you guys are finished he's out of there" I smile sinisterly at both of them and walk off.

I could hear Nicks heart beat increasing and he shouted out "CAN I GIVE YOU A LIFT HOME, THEN?" I chuckled and grinned looking back " Yea sure if you say so." I say back, when I hear a barely audible growl came from Jevon when he covered it up with a cough when Nick looked at him weirdly but shrugs it off as if it was nothing.

I walk off not looking back at them and to my next lesson of the day, Art. The day ended in an alright way I waited at the main entrance for Nick to come, I leaned against the frame of the door and listed to everything around me people's voices buzzing like when I heard one in particular that caught my interest Jevon Hills "Yes father I know, and I will be careful around the Bloodsucker he won't touch my mate no way in hell" he growled out I chuckled at his comment "No way in hell, been there done that that's why I'm here" I mumbled to myself mimicking his voice only higher pitched.

The scent of strawberries and vanilla chocolate came through the air. I moved to stand directly in front of the door and smiled, seeing Nick so carefree talking to his friend.

He saw me and his smile widened a little bit he said his goodbyes to the mutt and practically ran his way towards me, him breathing heavily and grabbed something out of his book bag which sort made an 'L' shape and realisation hit me.

He's got asthma, he took two puffs before speaking " You ready to go we going in Jevon's car if that's alright I kind of don't have a car yet" he blushed red in embarrassment I decided that what's the fun in not teasing my mate. I smirked tilting my head " Why did you ask to give me a ride then?" He tilted his head to the side looking at me through his lashes and replied "I um...wanted to impress you, and seem cool" he blushed redder.

I laughed at his cuteness and he frowned at me "No Nick you don't have to try to act cool in front of me we're friends I won't pester you about it let's go to or we are going to run out of time, yeah?" "Yeah" he replied and we started to make our way to the mutts car. I sat in the passenger seat, Jevon in the drivers and Nick in the back seat.

I gave directions to my house and we got out making our way to the front door I unlock it and we enter " Uh... can you guys take your shoes off and I'll show to the living room and make yourselves comfortable" they take their shoes off and I showed. them them the living room and made my way to the kitchen to check if I have any human food.

"Bingo found it, haha" I say in triumph as I grab the stash of junky human food which I only eat when I'm having a movie night with myself, I know what your thinking such a lonely loner.

I grab the stash and some sodas for them and make my way to the living room and set the food down. I smile at them "Knock yourselves out guys" I go upstairs to my bedroom and find my three laptops that I never and I mean never used since my human friends brought them for me, three Mac air's great right? Yeah, I make my way down the stairs and hand each of them on and we start on our projects.

Helping each other out, for some reason felt so right but so wrong, as crazy as it sound talking laughing making jokes it all felt as if this is where we belong as if we were meant to be together.

Time passed as we helped each other out, " Hey umm... Austin can I please go to the toilet" Nick asked in desperation, I smiled softly at him "yea sure, go up the stairs first right then the first doors your left" I gave him the directions "thank you" he said as he rushed out of the room to use the toilet.

"So what did you want to finish off with me at school" Jevon asks, just when he said that my smile turned into a frown. "Ok, so what are you doing on my lands and why did you say my mate was your mate?" I drill him for answers. He turned to me with a confused expression and replied " I just moved here with my dad and pack, but my pack friends go to an all werewolf school and me a human one for reasons, but Nick is my mate I can feel the bond" he looked just as confused as me.

Little patter of feet are making me aware that Nick is coming " Don't worry about it we're gonna have to figure this out by ourselves, but here comes Nick act normal" I rush out looking back at my computer trying to find some sort of history on the American Cold War for Jevon and Nick.

Nick made his way into the room and sat back down, as I look at the coffee table I noticed that there were no snack and they were all eaten. "Wow you guys are that hungry or what!" I point out in astonishment at all my precious food being eaten by these, these monster. "I am starting to get hungry again do you have any food that we could eat" Nick pouts when his stomach growls "No just frozen food but I can buy pizza if any of you are up to it!?" I ask.

Nicks eyes lit up at the word pizza and replied quickly with " Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes we are getting pizza isn't that right Jevon?" Nick looks at him in a questioning voice as if asking him to challenge him to a duel of food.

I stood up and took a step back giving him a space to attack him if he said no, so he wouldn't land on me, he looked at me as if asking for help but I pretend that I didn't see him "Um... y-yea" He stuttered out and Nick threw himself at him giving him a bear hug.

As I ordered the pizza I turned my flat screen TV on "So where are your parents?" Jevon asks, I paused what I was doing when memories clouded my mind of my family as they burnt down with my old house back in New Zealand with my older siblings as they helped me escape, "They died years ago with my older siblings in a house fire" I reply with a deep frown engraved on my face, Nick looked as if was going to say something but the doorbell cut him off "I'll get it" I stood up and went to the door before any of them could reply.

I closed the door and leaned against it sighing and then walk to the living room, and handed both of them their pizza. I put mine on the table and excused myself to go to the kitchen, I made my way to the fridge and grabbed a small bottle of blood and gulped it down. I threw the bottle in the bin and wiped my mouth and made my way back to my living room " I'm sorry for asking Austin it was none of my business to ask" Jevon apologises when I walked through the door of the room, "It's fine you had every right to ask where my parents where" I replied and sat back down and grabbed my pizza box and we all ate.

Joking around and making fun of life I looked at them when they both started to yawn I smiled and look at the clock against the left side wall and my eyes widened after realising that it was 12:03am and look back at Jevon and Nick and their sleeping faces and smiled.

I got up and whispered in Jevon's ear "Hey wake up you can stay the night in my guest bedroom and so can Nick in the other" "Hmmm... I'll just go home what's the time" he asked as his eyes fluttered open "three past midnight just come with me and I'll show you the room" "Sleepovers already" he teased when I moved away from him to pick Nick up who looks as if he was knocked out.

He adjusted himself in my arms so he was more comfortable, I made my way up the stairs knowing fully well that Jevon was following and walked to one of the guest bedrooms across from my bedroom and laid Nick down and pulled the covers up on him and walked back out of the room and into the passageway to the guest bedroom next to mine and showed Jevon in.

He walked in and face palmed the bed, I waited a few minutes but when I heard snoring I walked up to the bed and grabbed the covers from underneath him and pulled them over him, making my way out and into my own.

I closed my door and slid down looking up and whispered to myself " What am I supposed to do with these two I'm so confused mom, dad give me a sign! Help me out here I'm lost I don't understand anything anymore" I stood up from my spot realising what I said was stupid, I striped down to my boxers and and slid in my bed covers and started to daydream of the days events.
