Silence

It was a breezy morning, just the perfect weather for a jog thought Rahul. He put on his tracks and walking shoes, plugged in his earphones and jogged towards the park.

An hour had passed, he was exhausted and decided to sit there on the bench. There he noticed a girl, her name was Amanda. He has been coming to the park for two years now and never seen her before. She was sitting there on the bench opposite to him by listening to music and reading a book. He couldn't take his eyes off from her face. He was Love struck! Like in the movies, everything around went mute and he was only able to see her. She was perfect, with big brown eyes and pierced nose. He always had a love for pierced nose. A little plumpy though, but that's what made her look pretty and cute. He kept gazing at her for almost half an hour and that's when she finally took her eyes off from the book and noticed him. It lasted for less than two seconds but he was happy that she atleast looked him. She walked away after that. He felt bad and disappointed, he thought to himself.

Maybe she left after noticing me. Did I make it too obvious? Did I took it too long?

There goes my first impression. Then he returned to home.
