Good evening, Issac,

It is 5.14Pm and I am yet to hear conclusively from you.

Have tried to reach out to you the whole of today without success.

The branch is not sure of your whereabouts hence this email.

You are aware that the branch had organized a sales activation at ANU last week. You only showed up on Tuesday. You did not show up from Wednesday to Friday. This is wrong considering that these activations come at a cost and it’s important to make good use of the opportunity to help close on your personal KPIs and the branch’s as well.

Kindly explain why:

You failed to show up for this activation from Wednesday through Friday.

You did not find it important to communicate the same to the branch leadership.

You haven’t reported to the branch today.

This is worrying trend, and we need to understand what the underlying issue is.

    I did not reply. I just deleted it. Earlier after calling me, I had finally gathered the courage and sent her some message, and even sent screenshots telling her how apparently I am on the verge of being promoted, something that isn’t true. I don’t think so. Well 3 weeks ago, I have always been randomly applying for jobs and I did some internal ones as well, and was invited for an interview for a BOM Branch Operations Manager but they realized I am just a DSE, Direct Sales Exec, (a fancier name for a sales rep by a little bit), and they had immediately rescinded the invitation. But then the lady who had sent the invitation had emailed some other guys in the organization HR chain, saying if there is a suitable role for me that I can instead be considered for. I have a Masters of Science in Financial Engineering and have over 8 years experience in Banking including as a Sales manager at KCB Bank.Me: therefore based on my qualifications and experience, I am being considered for a position. Her: this is okher: this is within Mbank..making a typo and tagging the earlier message I had explained on the bom roleme: Yes of course madam. I even sent you the emails yesterday but got deleted. I really had the prevuous day but hours later she hadn’t read them and I just chose to delete themher: Its been a busy day today! End month reports etc.Her: I honestly didn’t know about this new development at all but I am very happy for you..

Her : Meaning you are through with interviews and just waiting for placement now, right?Me: sends the two screenshots of the teams interview invite and the screenshot of the email by maureen owuoche above, but concealing some important sections to drive an agenda hahame: (I reply to her messages of “I honestly didn’t know…” yes maamher: that’s great, end of convo. Anyways, so I had been working at I&M bank Wilson branch where years earlier we had visited with my then boss James Kiboi’s niece, Karen Njoki, who used to smoke a lot of w**d and drink alcohol, a lot of it as well. She used to be a fun girl. But she couldn’t drink at her uncles place. When working with her, her uncle’s wife used to send us money I think its was 300 each for lunch (haha) almost everyday. It was good times those days. We used to dodge work a lot. We pretended we went to give out flyers, but just went and sat somewhere and she would smoke her w**d . I never did, never have and will never smoke or drink though. I am a staunch Christian. I go to church every Sunday lately. Well there was a period I didn’t go or did so irregularly, and I had thought it was the reason for my life’s misfortunes.

While working in Naivasha at Quipbank, I like ever went just once in like a year. When they moved me to Mombasa, I went few times, then got fired. I thought God said, “…well you don’t want to pray to me because you are too busy with work right? Well then its that work I’m gonna take away from you so we see who is boss”

But then also my wife, who was not really my wife, during our occasional numerous fights usually used to curse me and say I would lose that job that made me disrespect her. I never did disrespect her. She’s crazy you know. You had to be there though, otherwise you will side with her. And I’m just now thinking of the family guy episode where an elephant hears some domestic violence but does nothing as it’s sure there’s another side to that story.

Someone once sided with her. It happened when we were living with her and our then only few- months- old baby. She was crazy you know. No, she really is. One day we fought and I threatened to throw her out(and I’m just now thinking of the family guy episode where Stewie has Mother Teresa OD’d in his car, and he tells his henchmen to throw her out, throw the b out haha its so funny). Well, she actually had threatened to have me throw her out, you know how they usually are during fights, all daring you to hit her or throw her out etc., if you are man enough, you know … .

Just now Cathy sends a message. she at 8 had apparently sent a message and I didn’t see I don’t know how, she had said she is going to the hospital. She needs to go to a prenatal clinic soon. She hasn’t in weeks. Last she went to the one opposite Mater Hospital in South B where she had been going since forever, but this time somehow they turned her away that she had to have an ID Card. And you all know how that went yesterday. She had said she’s is going to the hospital, and I now just see the w******p message. I tell her its ok. I send her 400 and guide her where to pick a matatu to the opposite Mater one. But now at 1251, when I hadn’t responded, turns out she had already gone to one apparently in Kariobangi but turned away also, they saying she doesn’t have an ID Card. I assure her its ok, we will figure all that out. I wonder how the school children I usually hear are pregnant get to deliver? Anyway.
