Am not going to lose my job, what am I going to do, should I go and talk to Dr. Marl, I know very well that Dr. Ben can't help me, from what I've witnessed, is now know to me that Dr. Ben is just a puppet.

I made up my mind to explain to them, but they ignored my presence ,talked like I wasn't there and they by passed me as if I wasn't there.

Dr. Marl called him Law, maybe that was his name, Law didn't look at me even once, and he ignored my presence and that hurt a little I didn't do anything bad for them to make me feel guilty, they should be feeling guilty.

After they left, Dr. Ben look at me and he shook his head with a sad look, telling me he can't intervene, he can't help and I understand him very well, he have no confidence to stand against those monsters.

I met Adina at the nurses station waiting for me, she have already pack our things, she gave me my bag and I knew very well what that meant, I didn't ask her anything, I just collected it and we left. No one saw as going so no one asked anything.

We drove in Adina's car home, to our apartment. Adina was very quiet following me, none of us talked about what happened throughout the drive and on our way home.

It seems Lisa is already home, I went to my room, kept my bag down, took my phone and started to look for where I would get a job. Hospital work for two people, Adina would have done the same, after all she was the one who found an opportunity at saint Holmes for us.

Am hungry I should get something to eat, I saw Lisa and Adina sitting at the living talking, as I approach I got to know what they were talking about.

"so what are you guys going to do" Lisa asked as I sat down.

"look for another job" I answered knowing Adina have told her about our spy failed act.

"look for another job?, is very hard for other hospitals to take you in as a nurse after they notice, you are coming from Saint Holmes and you guys know that" Lisa said frustrated

The door bell rings, was someone expecting a visitor,

"The pizza is in" Lisa shouted as she went to the door, what Lisa said was a fact, there were many excellent health workers who after they stopped working at Saint Holmes without any letter for transfer from anyone, they're working a different job or even staying at home, all those years you spent in school become vain.

Yes people still fight to work there because they were an A class hospital and they paid handsomely than other hospitals.

There are other benefits like the dignity you hold just for working there was great and they solve cases that are very hard to solve, cereblities and renowned people are seen each day in and out. It was a great place to work.

All this was my fault I shouldn't have confronted them.

"You shouldn't be blaming yourself girl, leave it all to me, the blame and everything" Adina said with a smile

"the pizza have arrive" as if we ordered with her, she's always funny.

She opened it and we all started to dig in.

"How are you and Marl" Adina asked from no where.

"Am not going to ask him for help" Lisa answered with a frown, there's something going on I didn't know.

"Lisa are you going to tell me or should I ask" thinking she was eating I continue

"you no more talk about him again, did something happen between you two or"

I looked at her face now to see she was now angry, did I asked something I wasn't suppose to ask,

"so Lisa father think, his daughter can't make right choices so he have to get a better husband for her" Adina explained, but Lisa's father wasn't that type to force her to do something so why how

"Lisa you can talk to your father about it" she still wasn't saying anything.

"Actually her father said this is the only thing he would ever ask of her" I wonder how Adina got to know this without me knowing anything

"how did you know that" I asked her

"Actually, Mr Lambert came here an afternoon you went to work to create a little scene here, it was great" Adina never carr about anybody's mood she says what she wants to and she's done.

it was obvious Lisa didn't want to talk about this topic, but as her friends, she know we will share every little detail before we let go.

"oh no how can I miss this one" I shouted, not laughing because of Lisa's mood.

"I call but you didn't pick up your phone" I'll start picking from now since there's no work.

"Lisa you could have told your father that your were in love with Dr. Marl" I sympathize.

"Oh Gabby, don't be so slow, Lisa's father is getting her married to the Martin's second son" poor Lisa she's going to marry her love's brother, no wait.

"The Martin's second son is Dr Marl" then why is Lisa angry about it.

"You were slow on that" Lisa spoke for the first time we got into this conversation.

"Then you should be happy about it Lisa, or Dr. Marl dating" I asked curiously

" No he actually thought Mr. Lambert and his daughter are gold diggers who want his money and his fame for their business" but that wasn't right, we all know that, oh I forgot he's not us.

"Lisa doesn't work with his father and his younger is the heir, so what the hell" Dr. Marl was a jerk Adina wasn't wrong.

"Well he doesn't have a good relationship with the Martin's so, he thought Dad was after him on purpose, and I showed interested in him without opposing so he thinks......" Lisa eyes were teary, what the hell did that bastard tell her.

"Harrot.... he thinks she's a harrot, too cheap" it was my turn to be angry, did that smiling bastard tell Lisa that, oh no wonder they both hate his guts.

I now know why this was a very sensitive topic to Lisa, that was what Rich her ex boyfriend said, while he was the one cheating.

we never take these things serious but Lisa was a very emotional sensitive person. She kept her crush for Dr. Marl for a year before opening up to us, so she didn't deserve that.

"Are not going to do anything about this" I asked irritated

"I have a plan that can help Lisa cancel the engagement" we all turned to Adina, why did you she waited so long

"why did you waited so long" Lisa asked as if she knew what I was thinking.

" you guys know that it's hard for me and Gabby to get a job, so what don't you exchange the cancel of the engagement for our transfer letter" It may sound childish but Adina's plan was perfect for this moment.

Lisa hugged us, and I she was going to put her acting into business in no time.

We've survive through life by creating plots for ourselves this was nothing new.

but Lisa wasn't going free for eating all the pizza when we wasn't concentrating.
