We have always been coming to the hospital ever since the vice chairman, I meant Lawson, he prefers using his name, became unreasonably interested in a girl here, he would make it seem like, he came to visit Marl but there are always those small things he won’t be able hide from me, after all I knew him since he 7 yrs, his eyes always search for her every time we enter, I don’t really know who she is but I know she is a worker here and I would be careful to never offend whoever she was.

Today was different we came here for a reason, Mia’s father was here, he was at the prisoners unit, at the top floor, Lawson enjoy the effect he have on people but today was different, we took the elevator, Mia was our youngest maid and we all like her innocent action and her naïve acts, but she suffered an abuse which she never told anyone about, I know Lawson have his ways to get his own informations that he doesn't want to anyone to know about, but the news by passed me to him, I guess the person who reported Johnson to the vice really wanted Johnson to die a very painful death that’s why the news went straight to Lawson, he was the vice chairman after all.We entered Marl’s office, I hate his smiling face, he was dangerous especially when he smiles, and I wish he would stop smiling. I bowed a little to him. Many people don't know whenever he say something smiling he can kill, to make his statement come true.

“The last time I’ll be saying this, bow to me one more time, Bernard and I’ll make you faceless and not even the Law would save you”

yeah that’s how he call the vice chairman, the Law and you guess right he hate that name, only Marl have the guts to call him that, that make him dangerous to begin with.

“Welcome to my unit brother, you should have called, Gabby is………”

“MARL!” the sound of a pin drop could be head, he hate personal life with business. He always soften up when it some to her.

“he’s at the prison with your old prisoner” Marl said still smiling, we turn directly to the ward, there was a pest watching us from the storage room, I remember no one was allowed on this floor, that was the instruction given, I moved to approach her,

“let her be” Marl’s voice stopped me, I dare not disobey his order, the first and last time I did, I didn’t liked what happened next to me, and not even the vice chairman defended me, one lesson I learnt, they never side with others or any one who isn't part of them even if their part is guilty

“Vice chairman” Ben greeted he was the prisoners doctor since he was one.

“Tear the wounds Ben” he knew better than to question the vice, he started right away. The foreign presence disappeared.

“Do I look wicked to you Ben? Was I too merciful to you for you to defile my orders?” Ben bowed on the floor, and kept on murmuring, sorry, forgive me, have mercy, he always does, why can’t he obey a simply order.

“No anesthesia, I said that, a glove?” Marl gave him one, he wasn’t smiling in this situation, one thing about Marl when he refuse to smile in a situation he is dead serious, he never play around.

The vice chairman dislike the powder from the gloves, he only use gloves when he’s extremely angry and Marl hate his brother getting angry, I know Ben would answer that to him later.

Johnson was looking at the situation shriveling, he dare not shout or he will make the vice more angry, every prisoner knows the rules, is the first to be read to you, after been detained, what you did would be the last thing you would know, so you figure it out what you did wrong by yourself. The foreign presence was back and Marl’s smiling face to me showed his order still stand, I’ll let them be,

“You did that to your blood, your daughter, you f*****g don’t know how much I hate your f*****g face right now, but I hate scaring my workers so I’ll operate you here”, the vice’s eye contact someone at the door, I pray they know what that mean, I turned to see our guest, she looked familiar, Johnson’s shouted doubling his pay and he knows that very well. She ignore her friend and entered, now I saw her well, the vice never wanted her here especially her, I was waiting for a command but nothing came, she was obviously avoiding the vice chairman’s eye, do they know each other, Linda will curse she missed this show.

“Are you trying to kill him” she by passed the vice as he removed the glove, the bastard started playing victim, telling her to leave, he know we’re not going to kill him till he make death a choice.

“You monster” she was doing everything as a nurse but she wasn’t really concentrating on what she was doing, she was panicking

“Dr. Ben do something” I almost laugh but I didn’t want the vice angrier, she still wasn’t looking at the vice but kept calling him names, Marl’s was really enjoying the show.The moment I heard my name, I knew what to do, I held her not letting her go, she was so thin, the vice ordered to woke the collapsed Johnson, Ben did his overdoing which he get scolded for each time.

“Let me go, you are hurting me” I instantly let her go, looking at the vice, his face scream ‘how dare you hurt her’ Linda would’ve known better, she know everything about this girl, I would ask for her information today, she’s becoming part of the vice’s life. Her shivering meant she now knew the situation was in now, luck enough for her the vice like her but he doesn’t let go of unsettle scores, I think the class meeting today would be an interesting one.She still wasn’t living, something was difference, the vice was avoiding her eyes this time, she finally looked at him, and the Law, the vice who fears nothing was avoiding her eyes, this was a perfect news for Marl, since I started moving with them, I know they behave according to how they were been though by the chairman, I know a lot about all of them except the vice, he’s very secretive and he have never been in a relationship of which I know of.
