Chapter 5—In pool with the wrong brother

1146 Words
DONATELA I didn't stop until I got out of the building and stopped at the backyard beside the pool. That was close. My chest hurt from breathing too heavily and my legs wobbled like I haven't stretched since forever. Thank goodness I bolted. Thank goodness the compound is big enough for me to run around too, he'd caught me by now. I stared at the mansion from where I stood. It looked all silent like a graveyard, harmless yet it felt dangerous by standing beside it. The bells from the church rang again, and I felt a shift in the atmosphere. I was almost convinced that Zion had caught me and I should get ready to run, but the shift wasn't the atmosphere. Something was under the pool and bubbles appeared on the surface like someone was breathing under the water. My heart snapped. What on earth did I just bring upon myself!? The last time I came here at the pool area was on the first day we arrived here two months ago and had an orientation. How on earth would I know if this is normal or if I should run? The bell rang again, this time harder and faster — signifying that the prayers are starting really soon and the gates are closing. A peek into the water, nothing was in sight — buttonlessly blue. Maybe I had imagined it. So I turned toward the house to leave. I have never missed a church program and I'm not going to start today. Perhaps seeing Zion in a priestly dress would erase the evil thought in my mind and get me back to my senses. A step forward, something grabbed my leg and the water rumbled. OMG, what was that? Attempting to take another step, another hand grabbed it again — almost too tight that I held my breath. I was shocked. No sound escaped my lips, adrenaline pumped madly as I turned and a head poked out of the water like a dragon awakening. “Ahhhhh” the sound finally came, I fell on my butt. Before I could realize it or even see the face of whoever or whatever that was there, he dragged my legs — automatically pulling me until I landed into the water with a heavy splash. My clothes and shorts were light and I had no underwear. It took a while before I could brace myself to open my eyes under the water. Nakedly before me was Cahiah — the last brother. Black furs still on his arms, his legs and his… No. Seemed like he just shifted out of his wolf hence the reason why I didn't see him underwater earlier. I fought my way up, but got stuck at the bank breathing heavily. This was my first time under a swimming pool and the first thing I'd see was a naked man!? I should get out of here. “Sister….?” Cahiahh's magnetic voice stopped me as I tried crawling. Half of his body was still under the water. My heart beat increased. “W..Why did you pull me into the water?” “I'm sorry, I…” My vision glitched as he paused. How could he be so sinfully handsome!! No. This is not happening again. The bells from the church had stopped, now replaced by Zion's thick voice through the microphone. I should leave here. Lydia was not the only temptation I have right now. These stepbrothers of mine aren't only temptations, they're the devil's bread. “Dona.” Cahiah reached out. “Are you fine? You look lost.” I stepped back. God forbid our skin contact. Who knows what will happen. “You look pale… should I…” he made an attempt to get out of the pool. My legs obeyed me quickly this time, I jumped to my feet before I could think twice. One sin with Knight and Reign is enough. I'm not committing more. No matter how much my heart wanted it. They can do whatever they want in my dreams but in reality? No. I wouldn't fall. I barely made it past the shed beside the pool when Reign appeared, dressed in Cassock which was slightly opened and his hair braided neatly. Eureka! Why is he here too!? “Fa..Father?” Cahiah's feet sounded behind me, now I was trapped between the two. No where to run to. “Why did you run away?” Cahiah now wrapped a towel around his groin but those abs… Lord! I'm not thinking about it. I'm not looking at them. I closed my eyes — fast and tight. “Why are you drenched, Little saint?” Reign took a step closer. I raised my hand in his direction, eyes still shut. “Don't move.” pleaseeee I wished I could yell that. “Ju..Just go back. I'll join the prayers soon.” The two of them said nothing. Did they leave already? I carefully opened the first eye, Reign was no longer at his spot. Wow. Second eye — Cahiah is also gone. Lord Jesus! They actually left. Happily, I took a step.. something blocked me. Cahiah slowly materialized from the air, his chest directly before my very eyes. I gasped and stepped back only to hit my head on something warm and steady. Turning back, Reign was there with an evil grin. “F.. Fathers?” f**k it! Why is my voice shaking? “I…I have to attend the church program.” Reign's grin faded. “Not only you tell me what you were doing underwater with this scumbag.” Incredible! How should I have forgotten that Cahiah and Reign always have a problem with each other? In fact, Cahiah never for once sat together at the dining table or sat at the altar with his brothers during church service. How did I forget that? Strange lumps clogged my throat. I coughed quickly. “Em.. I was just playing around, and I…” “Why did she need to tell you her movement?” Cahiah cut in rudely. “Her mother or Father never told any of us to look after her, Reign. She's an adult.” Oh My God! Are they fighting!? Reign stepped aside, and faced his brother head on. “They never told us to look after her, and they didn't leave her for you to use as your cumming toy!” I wished I could laugh at that. Because of what happened, did he think he owns me now? Scoffs. Cahiah reached out and grabbed my hand surprisingly. “She doesn't belong to you, nor do you have the right to stop me from touching her!” Reign's eyes were now more terrifying than I'd ever seen. “Take your hands off my Mate, Cah!” Did I just end up in a two brother fight?
