Freya Langston showed up at Juniper Hale’s apartment with tears in her eyes. Both women were twenty-four and had been best friends since college. Freya was heartbroken after her boyfriend dumped her.
Juniper opened the door right away. She saw the tears and pulled Freya inside. “Come here. What happened?”
