THE LOCKED BALCONY AT DAWN PT 1
The heavy glass door to the shared suite balcony clicked shut behind them and locked automatically.
Elena froze for a second, hand still on the handle. She turned and tried it again but the door wouldn’t budge.
Kai stood beside her, also wrapped in one of the hotel’s thick white plush robes.
“You’re kidding me,” he muttered, rattling the handle harder. “It’s locked from the inside?”
“Maintenance issue. They mentioned something about the balcony doors during check-in, but I didn’t think it would actually trap us out here.” Elena said, voice flat.
They both looked at the dark mountain landscape below. The corporate retreat was high up, and the nearest balcony with lights on was two floors down and far to the left.
No one was awake, and the air was cold.
Elena laughed first, a short, surprised sound. Kai joined in, the awkwardness breaking for a moment. “Great. We’re stuck until housekeeping or staff shows up at 7 a.m., that is four hours away.” He said, checking his watch.
Elena pulled her robe tighter around her body.
The cold made her skin break out in goosebumps. The silk lining of the robe slid against her skin, and the front parted slightly at her left thigh, revealing the smooth, toned length of her leg. She crossed her arms under her breasts, trying to keep warm.
Kai noticed.
His eyes dropped to that exposed thigh for a second before he looked away. He was trying to stay respectful, but the attraction he had felt for months was impossible to hide now.
Elena was his boss, but seeing her like this, vulnerable and half-dressed in the cold mountain air, made his c**k stir under the robe.
“Should we shout for help?” he asked, keeping his voice professional.
Elena shook her head. “Everyone’s asleep. We’d just wake up half the retreat and look ridiculous. Let’s just wait it out.” She glanced at the wide lounge chair built into the balcony.
“We might as well sit. It’s too cold to stand around.”
They moved to the long, cushioned lounge chair and sat close together to share body heat. Their shoulders brushed. The plush robes touched, and Elena could feel the warmth coming off Kai’s taller frame.
He had been her junior on the team for over a year. She had always kept things strictly professional, but tonight, trapped on this balcony, something felt different.
The cold air made her n*****s tighten under the robe and the fabric clung to the curves of her body. Kai’s eyes kept drifting. He tried to focus on the dark mountain view, but they kept returning to the way the robe had slipped open at her thigh and the soft swell of her breasts where the robe gapped slightly at the top.
Elena felt a quiet thrill at being seen like this by him. She was the one in charge, the one who ran the meetings, but right now she was the one half-naked and trapped with her ambitious junior. The power imbalance made the moment feel risky and exciting.
“It’s freezing, tell me something to pass the time. How did you end up staying so late for the strategy session tonight?” she said, shifting closer so their thighs pressed together.
Kai leaned back against the cushions, trying to keep the conversation safe. “I wanted to make sure the numbers were solid before tomorrow’s presentation. You push hard, but I like it. It keeps me sharp.”
Elena smiled faintly. “You handle the pressure well. Most people crack after the third round of revisions.”
They talked quietly about work at first, but the cold and the closeness made the conversation shift. Their shoulders stayed pressed together, every small movement caused the robes to rub, sending little sparks of awareness through both of them.
Kai’s voice dropped lower. “Sometimes I wonder how you do it. You never seem rattled, you are always in control.”
Elena turned her head to look at him. Their faces were close. “I get rattled. I just don’t show it.” She paused, then added honestly, “There’s a lot of pressure. And sometimes… I get tired of being the one who has to stay in control all the time.”
Kai’s eyes met hers.
He could see the genuine vulnerability there, his c**k was starting to thicken under the robe. The plush fabric did little to hide the growing bulge as he sat so close to her. He shifted his legs, trying to hide it, but Elena noticed. Her gaze dropped for a second to the obvious outline forming between his thighs.
The air between them grew heavier. Elena felt heat pool low in her belly despite the cold. She was aware of how her robe had slipped even more at the thigh, exposing more smooth skin. She didn’t fix it.
“You’re cold,” Kai said, voice rougher now. He draped his arm along the back of the lounge chair, not quite touching her shoulders. “We should stay close to conserve warmth.”
Elena nodded and leaned into him a little more. Their bodies pressed together from shoulder to hip. She could feel the solid warmth of his athletic frame through the robes. Her leg brushed against his, and she didn’t pull away.
They kept talking, voices quieter now. Kai admitted the pressure he felt trying to prove himself on her team. Elena shared how exhausting it was to always be the one making the tough calls. The conversation turned more personal, to hidden desires, the things they wanted but never said out loud at work.
“I’ve always admired how focused you are,” Kai said, eyes drifting again to the curve of her breasts where the robe had loosened. “But sometimes I wonder what you’re like when you’re not in boss mode.”
Elena’s breath caught. She felt the thrill again. “And what do you think I’m like?”
Kai hesitated, then answered honestly. “I think you want to let go sometimes. Let someone else take the lead… or at least share it.”
The words hung in the cold air.
Elena’s n*****s were hard points pressing against the inside of her robe. Between her thighs, she was starting to get wet. She could feel the growing bulge under Kai’s robe pressing against her hip now. It was thick and warm, getting harder the longer they sat close.
Neither of them moved away.
Accidental touches became less accidental. Kai’s hand rested on the back of the chair, fingers occasionally brushing her shoulder when he shifted. Elena’s knee pressed against his thigh. Every small movement sent warmth spreading through their bodies.
The sky was beginning to lighten very slowly on the horizon, turning from deep black to a faint gray. The risk of someone waking up and seeing them from another balcony added another layer of tension. They were exposed, trapped, and the power difference between boss and junior made everything feel forbidden.
Elena turned her head slightly.
Their faces were only inches apart. She could feel Kai’s warm breath on her cheek, her eyes dropped to his mouth, then lower to the clear bulge tenting the front of his robe. She didn’t hide that she was looking.
Kai’s voice was low. “This robe isn’t doing much to hide anything right now.”
“I noticed,” Elena replied softly. Her thigh shifted, pressing more firmly against the hard length of him. “You’re getting hard sitting here with me.”
Kai didn’t deny it. “Hard not to when you’re this close, and looking like that.”
The cold air raised more goosebumps on Elena’s skin, but the heat building between her legs was stronger. Her p***y throbbed with slow, steady awareness. She could feel her own wetness starting to coat her inner thighs. The robe had slipped open enough at the top that the inner curves of her breasts were visible.
They sat like that for long minutes, shoulders and thighs pressed together, breathing the same cold mountain air, eyes locking and then sliding away.
Lingering glances, small, “accidental” touches that lingered a second too long.
Kai’s c**k was fully hard now, the thick ridge clearly outlined under the white robe, pressing against Elena’s hip. She didn’t move away. Instead, she shifted her leg so the side of her thigh rubbed slowly along that bulge.
Neither of them crossed the final line.
Elena’s voice was quiet when she finally spoke again. “We still have a few hours before anyone comes to let us in.”
Kai turned his head, eyes dark with want. “Yeah. We do.”
They stayed close on the wide lounge chair, bodies touching, the air thick with everything they weren’t saying yet. The cold wind brushed over their skin, but the real heat was building between them, slow and inevitable.
