He turns and meets my weak gaze.
"Yes, can I help you,"
He added again.
I rode a few steps close, and while looking into his eyes, I said, "who're you,"
Jax looked at me like I said something strange, he grins and stared both ways.
"Go in, Ava and we will talk,"
He says and turns again to leave.
I watched him do that, perplexed to even attempt to stop him.
I got inside and mom stepped out of her room and finds me resting my head on the door.
"Baby, are you okay?"
She says.
I lifted a little of my head and nodded.
I rode past her to my room and locked the door.
I pulled off my clothes, and walk-in into the bathroom butt-ass naked.
There was something strange and connective about Jax.
I don't know but I feel like he actually might be my mate.
The next morning, I went down after getting my books ready for class.
I sat down at the dining table when mom walks out of the kitchen with a bowl of chicken pepper soup.
Mom always says a good way to start a day is by getting her dish.
After taking breakfast, I took a taxi to school.
I walked into the hallway and everyone was gathered at the cafeteria, I was so curious to know what was happening and so, I dashed in to meet Violet creating a scene.
She had everyone phoning her ridiculous plan of making Jax her's before the next moonball festival.
That's crazy and I don't think Jax will ever accept.
Jax takes his hand up and rubbed his neck, he tilted his head a little to the right and found me staring among the crowds.
Violet saw how lost he stared and decided to take a look too.
She sees me and Jax eye-locking and decided to create more scenes.
"Welcome Ava, I can see you've got your eyes on Jax,".
She lifts her hand and everyone gave way.
Violet comes to me meeting eye to eye.
I stared and couldn't help to wonder, what more drama she wants.
"Look violet, I don't need any drama please,"
I said.
I took a step back trying to leave, but she pulled her hand out and held me from moving forward.
"You're not going anywhere, after all, I did just catch you staring at Jax,"
She shoved me to him.
"Perhaps you like him?".
She added.
Jax pulled me away, I looked at him with my head turtling to her.
"Yes! I do like him,"
I resolved.
Everyone in College gasped out in shock, their cameras kept flashing, Jax turns around and left.
I saw him leaving and immediately wanted to go after him.
But Violet takes me back, she was like, I ain't going nowhere until she finishes with me.
I slapped her hands away and warned her not to do anything stupid, that she might regret.
The tone in my voice had her shaken, I saw that and decided to rush after Jax.
I ran out of the cafeteria and saw him trying to go into a taxi.
I shouted his name and he turns seeing me waving my hands.
I thought he was going to leave but no, he slammed the doors to the taxi and waited.
I came panting hard.
"Can we talk,"
I said, trying to grab my breath.
"Talk about what,"
He asked, sounding displeased.
I heaved my head up, "let's talk about us Jax, I know who you're,'
I replied.
"Excuse me, what do you mean?"
He added, locking his hands together.
