Stay a little longer

Stay a little longer. Come back even for a minute by my side. Being away from you sucks. The last memory I have of you is that damn day when I yelled at you for coming back late ... you made me worry, it wasn't my intention to scare you and I don't blame you if you decided to leave forever after a while. But come back, please. Your face appears to me in every dream: your eyes are again filled with the spark of love while your lips are colored with the same old dark lip tint that I used to remove with all my kisses. Sometimes I think I wished I had never met you and I would just like to erase every memory I have of you, although the pain I feel now is nothing compared to all the happiness you have given me in these years together. Now I imagine your hair again when they were hit by the wind, fragile and light they were lifted with so much violence. Looking at you was like observing a work of art, a masterpiece filled with the colors of perfection and surrealism. And every time the same story repeated itself: my heart was beating madly and the desire to make you mine forever was incessant inside me. Now, however, your memory flows like a poison inside my heart, clouding my sight with bad premonitions. I hope you'll be okay after I'm dead. - Back in time- The next day we saw each other as promised and, despite what she told me, she came to anticipate me. We decided to take a tour and go through the most hidden places of that park, ending up observing some kittens chasing their mother in search of milk. We smiled and looked at each other, pointing to each of them when they were most adorable. "Now can I ask you for your number?" I said as soon as we lay down on the lawn to watch the sky darken. "You can ask me but that doesn't mean I have to give it to you." She laughed, turning on her side to take a better look on me. So I put my hand on the ground and got up to support myself, placing my face in front of her. "Then I can give it to you" I winked a smile, waiting for a response from her which promptly came out of her mouth. "You can give it to me but that doesn't mean that I have to write to you" I laughed at her ironic stubbornness, throwing myself back on the grass to look up. "Okay okay. Do you prefer something less intrusive like… i********:? " I asked "Maybe" and she took her cell phone placed in the pocket of her jeans, preparing the keyboard to write the name I told her. So she look for me and, once found, she began to follow me. "But I want to hear your voice, I don't want to send you messages without tone”, I confessed, getting a snort from her. "How cynical you are, Mr. Oscar, I promise you that if everything goes well you won't even need to write or call me" My heart stopped for a moment and slowly I got up, holding out my hand to help her get back on her feet. "Then I'll settle for now" Once again, I was the first that had to leave and said goodbye for the second time. I walked away in the midst of the twilight color and with butterflies in my stomach.
