I still couldn't believe what Carl told me on the phone as I was speeding to the address he texted me.
"Lexi was pregnant" I thought "so, she was living a romantic life while I on the other hand was living a platonic one"
I packed my car at the junction and started trekking to the address since a car couldn't go in and that make me started wondering why Lexi would leave me for a guy that was living in a slum.
