"BRANDON, we need to get out of here! This place was not safe for us anymore. This place will kill all of us!" the woman took off her mask and pushed him away to leave the place. "This is not our safe place anymore. This is the new hell for everyone," she said to him moving her head from left to right to visible the disappointment in her face, and then she ran away from him.
He tried to stop her but he failed, he closed his fist and controlled his anger. He did not know what to do anymore. He did everything he could to protect his friends and family and especially his pack, but it all turns out he let them go.
He was broken and just watched everyone go away and leave him in the middle of the forest as he tried to explain to them that he was doing his best to make sure that no one would burn the forest again. But they weren't listening, thirteen important people died from the burning a few days ago, six people from other families died and a few people got hurt from it and because of it they weren't listening to him and they were making the decision for themselves. He was neglected by his own pack and family members. His power slowly went away because of what was happening. He did not seem like it.
Everyone is in trouble, including his friend Veronica will leave him where they have lived for a long time to save her life.
He was stunned by what was happening in his pack right now. Everyone is losing hope. He failed to protect his family and the pack that trusted him for more than a decade. This is all because of the man who asked to burn the forest. They lost a few important beta and omega, and some of their family members are in the hospital right now and trying to get better because of the fire and burn.
He felt so down as he watched his friends and family leave the almazan. This place is named after their last name, it makes no sense if they leave because it's theirs. They own the forest.
"All you need to do is to surrender, Brandon," His mom tapped his back and held his hand. She looked at him straight in his eyes and she was so calm and trying to convince him to just surrender the place and find another place to live.
He blames himself. If he had listened to other people then, no one would have perished in the fire, everyone would have been safe and in their new forest. If only he had listened to them leave Almazan, nothing would have been lost.
"I don't surrender that easily, Mom. This is our home. It's our place, we should stay and they should be the ones to stay away from us."
"This is not ours. We borrowed the place from them when they did not use the forest but now they need it. We have to leave and find a new home," his Mom calm voice was trying to convince him to leave the place and forget all of the things and memories they had in the Almazan forest. It's too much of memories and he could not just get away from this place. They owned this.
His tears started to fall, "Why did they burn the place? They should have just properly cut the trees and done the construction," he said, "It's my fault. If only I had listened to you before." He was blaming himself for the death of their pack members and friends.
"No, It's not your fault. It's their choice. They choose to stay by your side and they are the ones who would like to stay in the forest too. No one has to blame, you did you what think you have to do," his Mom still trying to do whatever she could to make sure that he would not feel guilty because he had nothing to do with the death of all people who died in the forest.
It's their choice and willingness to stay in the forest. He should not be blamed for all of this. He just did everything he could to make sure that he would be able to keep everyone in the same place.
"Thank you, Mom," he said thanks to his Mom and hugged her. Fortunately, his mother was there to calm him down. Mom hugged him so tight too.
Everyone left their home, he was left all alone and checking and looking at their burned home. He tried to understand but he could not know why they needed to burn the place. They are in the middle of the forest, if they didn't stop the fire it would probably spread throughout the forest and it would be worse than what happened to them, the person who started the fire didn't think about the consequences. It's a wildfire if ever.
He could not think straight. All he wanted right now was to seek revenge for his people who died, he was able to threaten the man who was trying to burn the forest, he should have just killed him but he could not. His parents were blocking him in his plan. They are telling him that the man was innocent and they weren't innocent. It should be a fair fight.
"Don't do it." He heard a man's voice while he was about to attack a man. He looked at the man who stopped him. It's his father.
"Dad, what are you doing here?" he asked him, very clueless. He knew that no one was following him but why was his dad here with him? He did not notice that he followed him.
"What do you think you're doing? You're going to attack that innocent man?" his Dad asked him and looked so disappointed.
"He's not innocent, Dad. He killed our people. He has to pay for it." He said and his eyes were mad and burning for revenge.
"No. We have to leave and go home. You will not do anything to him, do you understand?" His dad's voice was serious and it was making sure that he wouldn't even touch the man he would like to kill.
"Fine," he said even though he did not want to say that. His mind says that but his heart would like to attack the man who can still laugh after killing more than ten people. He did not care if he wasn't aware of it but he warned him about burning the forest, but still, he continued with it and it was heartbreaking for him not to do anything for his people just because his parents were blocking him since he lost the power of being an alpha because he was neglected by his pack.
