I was feeling anxious as I stood outside Brandon's house next to my car. Earlier, I had met Daniela who was on her way to work at Wendy's coffee shop. She mentioned that she was working a closing shift. When Daniela asked me what I was doing there, I told her that I was visiting Brandon. After that, we didn't talk about anything else and I quickly closed my car window before driving to Brandon's house.
Daniela is unaware of what happened to her friend Brandon. It turns out that Brandon's parents have passed away, but no one around here knows about it. His house seems quiet and I'm not sure if anyone is inside. However, I do know the passcode to their house, as Brandon shared it with me last week when I opened the house for him to get something from his car.
