If I was going to make it to the d’Orsay by three, I would need to hurry.
I had to change out of the clothes I’d slept in. I didn’t even remember going to sleep. I pulled on a white lace blouse with a tea length blue circle skirt, glancing in the mirror with a twirl. What would Marie think of my hair? I liked the sway of the shoulder length; it made me seem cheerful. The mirror’s reflection stopped me. I looked better. My headache was gone.
